Really enjoyed our stay , staff so helpful and friendly lovely comfortable room , great location we had 2 dogs with us and the beach 10 mins away was amazing , enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant ,breakfast was spot on too !!

Restaurant was exceptional for both evening meal and breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful - whilst there. Location was excellent for us as we wanted to climb Scafell Pike the next day. Easy to find and major roads up to within a mile or so of the property. Period pub with 'historic' quirky rooms

After we left we were hounded for a bill that we had already paid. Repeated phone calls and messages left on my mobile - whilst we were climbing Scafell Pike and whilst driving down the motorway towards Snowdon. I eventually managed to speak to a member of staff and read out the receipt over the phone - no apology, he just dropped the phone. Really disappointed after such a brilliant stay.
