Phenomenal experience - excellent restaurant and ice cream, charming facilities and wonderful staff!

Very rustic. Close to Fontana Spa. Great dinner and ice cream

Clean, very cute place to stay. There’s a restaurant on site with fresh burgers that are super tasty. You can see the cows eating from behind the glass as they also offer homemade ice cream for purchase. It’s a VERY close drive the the bluest waterfall in Iceland hike.

Surprised at how highly this place was rated. It was not worth the $200+ price tag. We expected more for our money. We did have a beautifully appointed room with a gorgeous northern light photo above the uncomfortable queen bed. Floor heat is great in theory, but we couldn’t turn it off and the room was very warm and stuffy. Or, we turned the thermostat all the way down but it didn’t change how warm the floors were. The screws on the window latches were loose and funky, and you cant keep the window open or lose all privacy. So we had NO ventilation. So we were hot all night and didn’t sleep well. Earlier, I was looking forward to using the advertized spa, but it was just a smallish hot tub, lukewarm, no obvious controls to increase heat, the water surface was covered in leaves, and there were no instructions. Yuck. In the morning, we realized there was not enough coffee for 2 people. Cannot recommend. Everywhere else we stayed in Iceland we had excellent hospitality.

The property is beautiful, but the rooms are in need of an update. The rooms felt a little tired and are in need of a refresh.

The place was perfect! The peope were friendly, the food was good, and the room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend!

Great farm based hotel and restaurant. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant has excellent local food. One can even watch the farm's cows munching hay in their barn through plate glass windows while dining in the restaurant! Rooms are cleaning and comfortable. Good WiFi.

Very small room with shared bath and shower. Room has small sink. Wifi didn't work at all. Nice hot tub outdoors. Ok room for a short stay.
