Farmhotel Efstidalur

My daughter and I spent only one night, and wish we’d been able to spend more. The staff is friendly and helpful, making wonderful suggestions on places to visit that are off the beaten path. The food is amazingly delicious, and everything is fresh and local. The views from the dining room and ice cream shop are the absolute best! High marks all around!

Far exceed our expectations! Very warm and comfortable beds and we saw the Aurora borealis at this location. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Great friendly family/farm dog was a treat.

This was an amazing place for a family and I'm glad we booked it. We stayed in the family room which was big and comfortable. We also had dinner in the restaurant and loved it!

We loved the working farm atmosphere, especially being greeted by 2 friendly labs when we arrived! Rooms were decorated nicely and clean. Our stay included breakfast. Dinner menu was limited but still very good. The ice cream was amazing!! Would definitely recommend!

Like the farm, good business. Room was adequate and worked well for us. Ice cream is fun. Building has some age and you can feel it. Bed was comfortable and like the morning coffee.

All was good. Just work on that heating system.

Lovely working dairy farm property with updated restaurant offering nicely prepared meals. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable with 12 foot ceilings and good bed. We would definitely stay afain.

Nothing fancy, quiet, beautiful surroundings, good ice cream

The staff were hard-working, friendly and courteous. They managed a bus full of very demanding, almost pushy, German tourists with aplomb. The breakfast was delicious. Great deal of variety

We had a great time and the food was delicious! The Icelander burger was amazing!
