clean comfortable room,helpful staff,excellent breakfast.stayed many times,will again.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over new year in a single and twin room. Both rooms located on the first floor and both really clean. Beds were really comfortable as were the pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities available with biscuits etc. Breakfast was included and this was really good, cereals, bars, porridge, juice and tea and coffee all set out then the lovely lady came to the table to ask what hot food we would like. The full English was beautiful, all freshly made and couldn't be faulted. Considering this hotel is located in the city centre, I didn't hear one bit of noise. Bar downstairs is really handy for a drink or two before going out or before going to bed. Reserved the rooms again for this new year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed for the football was told it would be noisy but wow it was unreal, pub/club next door playing music till 4am then empty bottles taken out at 5 then beer delivery at 7 zero sleep , we were in room 6 don’t not recommend this room, hotel and bar staff were lovely just a real shame the motel club lets them down with there noise wish it would let me up load the video to hear what is was like

very clean and comfortable room with a good bathroom and excellent shower.pleasantly surprised to have a room near back of property,because if you are in a room facing the front it can be quite noisy.excellent breakfast in the morning,staff very helpful,kindly let me leave my bag so i could pick it up at night after the football.have stayed here in the past and will do again in the future.

What a real landlady top class woman friendly funny and welcoming a real treasure

Not suitable place for families to stay, was kept awake until 3.30am from loud music and bottles being smashed, was never anyone at reception, only nice thing was the chef.

good value for money stay,bed wasn't most comfortable,however,room and bathroom very clean,and was glad room wasnl't near front of hotel this time(can be very loud on a fri or sat night)and staying on a sunday this time,less noise.excellent breakfast and very helpful staff,location ideal for town and train travel.

It was ok and well

Super central location right in the night-life area also marks the stay: there is a lot of noise! Both from the night club across the street and also from the pub downstairs. The room itself is clean and functional and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are on a budget and plan on partying all night anyway then this a fine deal for you.
