KTDC Tea County Munnar

Nice room with small terrace, though lacking a table. Pleasant communal areas for indoor seating. Very effective slower unit and water temperature and pressure. Generous daily supply of bottles water. Very polite security staff. Excellent porters, always happy to help. Nice beer and wine bar, though currently limited to only 2 types of beer during my stay. Fair priced. Good spa and massage facilities, but sadly, no pool. Very good and reasonable laundry service.

A mini fridge would have been an asset. No currency exchange despite this being advertised on hotel literature. A long trek to the I accommodation block. I was advised to book the more expensive rooms, next time. +1000 Rup. Very limited breakfast options for non Indians. The egg station was excellent. Only 2 bath towels provided, no hand towel. Mean with the supply of toilet rolls.

Wonderful outside garden and building looks good Reception clean and looked after well. Bedroom and bathroom showing its age and could do with a complete remodelling, mould in the shower and dirty shower head. Restaurant food ok but limited choice. Staff ok no smiles.

Lovely property with fabulous views & beautifully kept gardens. Beer & wine room a bonus!

Some things were a little tired & needed some maintenance/a deeper clean. For example our shower base was leaking, so the floor was always wet, & the area around the raised sink needed a proper clean.

Zeer vriendelijk en voorkomend personeel bij het eten. Er werd ook zeer vroeg in de ochtend voor een lekker ontbijt gezorgd voor een trekking

De ontvangst. Personeel kon geen enkel advies geven over mogelijkheden van trekking en bezoeken. Nochtans staat dit wel op de site van booking. Personeel reageerde verveeld op onze vraag en deed verder geen moeite.

Wonderful experience..the stay was very good..beautiful view..food was good..the front desk people were very kind & supportive..especially Mr. Benny & Ms. Jennifer helped guiding us all through including for our safari & extension of our stay.. etc. Kudos to the entire front desk team and definitely we are committed to appreciate their support and the extra mile efforts.

Perfect location. In Munnar but slightly out of town so it’s very quiet. Had a lovely massage there.

Breakfast was pretty basic but that don’t bother me.

La gentillesse et l’efficacité de TOUT le personnel L’emplacement dans un jardin magnifique un peu au dessus de la ville grouillante de Nummar. Le côté un peu british de l’endroit Le restaurant sur place avec des prix raisonnables L’excellent confort et le calme des chambres L’excellent petit-déjeuner buffet

On pourrait ajouter un sèche cheveux et une couette un peu plus chaude (à 1500m d’altitude, il fait froid la nuit) La cuisine du restaurant est un peu (trop) grasse, dès le matin mais c’est bon
