AluaSoul Ibiza - Adults Only

Just returned from one of the best holidays ever! 5 girls on tour :-) living our best life in the suite overlooking the sea! We loved the hotel & the staff were fantastic... so much fun, especially at night! We were all inclusive and certainly made the most of it. There was a good range of food throughout the day including the snack bar by the pool. We joined in a few of the daytime entertainment activities, which included boulles & aqua aerobics A special should out goes to our new '6th member of the group', Valentina... she not only keeps people entertained during the day but sets up the evenings perfectly. A true source of entertainment in her own right :-) We've just got home and already planning our next visit in 2026

Zustand der Zimmer renovierungsbedürftig. (Wir haben mehrere gesehen) Personal Rezeption ist sehr förmlich, kein Lächeln keine Begrüßung, kein Verabschieden. Personal Restaurant ist sehr freundlich trotz Stress, da es immer laut und voll war. Gäste sind zu 95% Engländer. Lage super. Das Karoke-Lokal nebenan ist eine Katastrophe und raubt einem den Schlaf, wenn Mann ein Zimmer mit Meerblick hat. Besser direkt Poolblick buchen. Wir waren das dritte Mal dort und hatten sonst Poolblick. Zimmer sind dort auch leiser. In dem alten Teil mit Meerblick sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Man versteht jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer.

We have just returned from the AluaSoul Hotel in Ibiza after a 11 day holiday. Plenty of sunbeds. Food was ok with different theme nights. We had an early departure and were told we could have breakfast at 6.30. Bit disappointed as there was only cereal available and a hot drink. Evening entertainment was really good with some excellent acts. We had a pool view room .... we did have a side view of the pool which was a bit disappointing, we had the roof of the indoor pool directly in front of us. Would definitely consider returning but would request a pool view room to look directly at the pool. The Nubium Restaurant is well worth a visit.

Lovely friendly, clean hotel. Food spot on and plenty of it. Only disappointed was the room we had (poolside view) room, was near and emergency fire door which continually slammed shut when employees went to smoke outside. This continued for 3 nights until after midnight. I spoke to the night staff, who went to the door with me. We found staff smoking outside. He spoke to them, and they apologised. However, after 10 minutes, the door was slamming again. I complained again, as I couldn't sleep by this time. I explained that I'm on holiday, I'm resting and we paid alot for this holiday. Again,very apologetic, and we were moved to another poolside view room the next morning. Act, a better room. So, all in all, very professional. I hope the hotel took it on board that staff should not be using an emergency exit to smoke outside it.

2nd visit- really honest review We visited this hotel last year and went back for a few specific reasons. Short flight, great transfer, really chilled atmosphere and beautiful views. Es Cana is Beautful. We were also really luck with the weather considering the time of year (oct) Positives first The hotel caters for adults only and has such a chilled vibe and going as a couple we really enjoyed the relaxation that this hotel offers. You won’t struggle for a sun bed and the pool is nice. We only used one side though to be honest. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, although last year we had a huge bed and this year we were given 2 twins pushed together. The restaurant had a lovely outside area looking over the sea and it’s just beautiful. We loved looking over every night at the sea. Helping yourself to wine is also a positive. One of our favourite things to do was to sit with a glass of wine but we would go the restraint at 09.00 as any earlier was just so busy and not an enjoyable experience. Right in front of the hotel you can get boat trips which are reasonably priced. The all inclusive is decent as well when it comes to drinks although “all inclusive” is a push. There are things if you have to pay for which I will mention in the negatives. We were excited to go back after last year as we enjoyed our first experience and came back based on how chilled we were after our stay and how easy it was to get to Ok so negatives We arrived at the hotel at 11.15 after a really early flight of (06.00) provided by tui and after going through all of the check in details with the reception team, including booking the al a carte and dietary information, paying the mandatory tax, paying deposit on towels etc to be told our room would not be available until 3-4 was a massive disappointment as we had been travelling since 3am. The reception team told us we could put our suitcases in the cupboard and we were “welcome to change in the toilets if we wanted to” we felt this wasn’t something we wanted to do. This is a platinum hotel? Considering we had booked the all inclusive package including flights and I have never experienced this with any other hotel. I enquired about paying for an early check in and was told we would have to pay for an upgrade which was 20 euros per day but we would get a pool view room we could check in then. We didn’t feel we had much choice but to pay it based on how tired we were and just wanting to start our holiday. So 140 euros later we could check in. We went to our “upgraded room” which was the exact same room layout we had the year before, but 2 twins pushed together versus the super king we had last year. We could also see the pool Last year, it really didn’t feel like an upgrade on the 05th floor but we were grateful to be by a lift. We felt a bit swindled and felt like a room was available to be sold. We decided to suck it up but had to go to reception several times due to issues with the toilet in the room. This lasted most of our stay. We spoke to many other people staying during our stay who also arrived earlier than the check in but were given their room with no issue. We also witnessed it on more than one occasion. I know what you’re thinking, why not raise it while we were there. Well the main reason we didn’t is to be honest, the staff. Please don’t ignore the comments regarding the rudeness of some of the staff. It’s not made up at all. We’ve experienced it twice now. We brushed it off when we decided to book again due to the fact the hotel was what we wanted vibe wise but I can honestly say I’ve never felt more made to feel so unwelcome by members of staff in any resort we have stayed at. I asked one night for a straw for my gin and tonic and had the cup full of straws slammed on the bar top at me. I was actually at the bar when this happened to someone else who responded to the bar tender as “ok slammy”. I also watched the staff ignore orders. A girl in front of me at the bar was ordering an iced coffee and asked for an espresso shot on the side. The lady asked twice and she was just ignored and she decided to just leave it and left the bar. I have to mention Carlos though who was just genuinely lovely and don’t want to lump him in as he was really helpful. Also Veronica who was just so pleasant. I wouldn’t bother trying to make conversation with other members at the bar, they really make you feel like your an annoyance and at times I felt talked about by staff members while I was stood there. There are things you have to pay for, better quality drinks and even ice creams behind the bar. There are no snacks included from behind the bar and the “snack truck” is only available From 15.00-18.00 if your on the all inclusive and it’s burgers,wraps, chips, nachos etc and you have to sit at a table at the bar to order. You’re basically told off as well if you sit at the wrong table. Don’t bother going to the food truck to Ask anything either as the gentlemen working there will just shout “order at the bar” we watched this happen so many times during our stay that I don’t understand why they wouldn’t put up a sign? Also if you sit down at 15.00 when they allow the all inclusive to order after they have caterer to the “paying” customers prepare to wait as everyone who didn’t want the repeat of the buffet is waiting for 15.00. The main restaurant becomes very repetitive. They do the normal “themed nights” but this is normally a small section. We welcomed the pasta station though which was new compared to last year where you can order and the chef will make it fresh for you. 2 sauces every night though. Bolognaise or tomato. We were actually shouted at by staff when we went to sit down outside one morning for breakfast as the area wasn’t “open yet” although 10 minutes later other people sat there and nothing was said. It’s a very odd experience I must say. I would stress, I don’t believe this hotel is platinum. We’re sad to say, despite our really chilled out week, we won’t be returning based on the above. The hotel is also run down in areas. The toilets by the pool Reak of drains and the rooms need an overhaul. We’re just really thankful for some lovely weather, a nice pool and a week away from it all. I think a lot of the more recent returners with the more positive reviews have managed to build up some rapport with the staff which I can’t imagine was easy. I think this hotel needs to remember customer is key and making your guests feel unwelcome isn’t a good idea. Especially claiming to be platinum.

I went on holiday to the Aluasoul with my partner. We had a Superior double room with sea view and the room was fantastic and the sea view absolutely amazing. The room was large and very comfy. Plenty of wardrobe space. The shower very powerful. The food here is very good with plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch & dinner. There's always something new to try and you're never short of an option to have. We found the cleanliness of the room and the hotel to be excellent. Finally, the staff were all very friendly, polite and courteous and couldn't do enough for us. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday and we would recommend this hotel.

Well what an amazing hotel ,from arrival to departure, all the staff were amazing, the food was excellent and the roo.very comfortable and clean

I've read the reviews here and have to say we must have been staying in a different hotel viewing by some of the comments left on Trip Advisor. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel, and we have enjoyed our stay every time. We have found all the staff very friendly and accommodating. In fact, some would bend over backwards to help you. The hotel is spotlessly clean; there is a great variety of food served in the main restaurant. And it is always served hot otherwise for sure I would not eat it, Food to suite Vegetarians too. There are 3 large pools one for VIPs only. There is an indoor pool and a Spa which we did not use but it was there if we needed it. Somebody recently ‘implied’ in a review that some of the staff had a problem with people of colour. Well, my partner and I are of mixed heritage, and we can say that never in ‘(our experience)’ have we had any ‘racism’ from any staff members at this hotel or in our 12 or so times in Ibiza and San Antonia, any ‘negative experiences’ of this kind from citizens here, quite the contrary. However, we have had people make remarks under their ‘breath’ who do not approve of mixed heritage couples. Moreover, many of them have a darker complexity than myself. This is an (adult only) hotel that accommodates for people with walking difficulties or disabilities. The hotel has ramps put in around the hotel for wheelchair users. They have a couple of scooters and wheelchairs for those people who may be ‘challenged’ with walking problems. They even have a device around one of the pools to help people to get in and out of the pool who may be disabled. Surely this is a good thing, right?!And very thoughtful of the hotel to put in these facilities. Right?! The age group in this hotel is ‘very mixed’ and not full of old people over 60 years old. I am currently learning Spanish and some of the staff said let’s converse in Spanish then, it may help you. So, I did we had a good laugh. So, I would say again in our ‘own personal experiences’ there was no discrimination in regard to people’s colour. A couple of negative things we could say about the hotel are that the air conditioning was loud at night which was quite disturbing. And we should have been given bottles of water every morning which did not always happen. The hotels right in the centre of Es Cana and bars and restaurants close by in both directions. Additionally there are Taxi stands and a ferry you could catch to other parts of the island. We like to say hello to Nichol who was bar staff that worked by the pools. Also, Juan always accommodating and smiling and Beatrice at the reception. Plus the main restaurant staff who worked their socks off. En Espanol: Muchas gracias a todos. My stay at Alua Soul Resort in Ibiza was truly an unforgettable experience—though not the positive one I expected. The entire staff, except one service worker and one housekeeper, were rude and made me and my partner feel unwelcome. We were harassed night after night with “noise complaints” for simply being awake and talking in our rooms amongst ourselves, and were threatened to be “thrown on the street” if we didn’t sign noise waivers. We had an ocean front suite, which was spacious and decent. The hotel did not supply wash cloths, so if you decide to stay please travel with your own. You have to request an iron and ironing board each time you need one. The staff lacks regard for “Do not disturb” signage and entered our room several times despite the sign being on the handle. Housekeeping was nice, but had to be reminded to return clean robes and towels on more than one occurrence. Online the resort looks immaculate but in person it’s pretty unkept with filthy carpeting in the hallways and stained walls. For reference, a friend of mine stayed at a resort around the corner and it smelled like a spa. The hallway leading to my room on the first floor, smelled like a nursing home (I will touch upon that major issue soon). The demographic was remarkably mature—most guests appeared to be 60 and over, which perhaps explains the overall vibe. It felt more like a gathering of seasoned retirees at a local community center, or even a nursing home, than a lively resort. Wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, walkers and home care attendants assisting their clients to and from. The smell of urine and feces emitting from the room across from mine was unbearable, and even worse when I passed the couple in the hallways. The buffet was underwhelming and we preferred to buy food from local restaurants instead. All inclusive is not worth its value because bar doesn’t carry top shelf liquor. The pool, BORING and quiet. They play elevator music throughout the resort, and are very strict on not allowing outside music in public places. If you’re looking for friendly service, decent food, and a vibrant young party scene that Ibiza is known for, I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere. But if you’re a fan of grumpy, pessimistic staff, subpar food choices, and a boring retirement community vibe, then this might be the place for you.

Hotel was amazing for an adults only hotel. Staff were really nice and welcoming upon arrival. All staff were really nice and helpful. Big shout out to Carlos and Antonio the barmen. We went all inclusive, the food was amazing at every meal service, fresh fruit, fresh salad, every meal time, different selections of food at each meal time as well. All you can drink from morning to evening for all inclusive (from tea&coffee, soft drinks to alcoholic beverages). Entertainment throughout the day was good, there was evening entertainment as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to visit Ibiza. Will definitely stay at the hotel again. We are already looking into booking next years holiday at aluasoul Ibiza.
