I loved the traditional aspect of the stay. The staff were excellent especially the owner. The staff speak English. It was a stay that you wouldn’t experience often and is a must do.

Despite the traditional nature of the room, the pillows and bed weren’t the comfiest, but were ok.

This was far more than a hotel stay—it was a cultural experience. The spacious, immaculate room, private bath, exquisite seven-course dinner, and beautifully presented in-room breakfast were all unforgettable. Incredible welcome and staff. Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The dinner we had was incredible and prepared by the 7th generation owner who shared some of his families history and traditions. We were very well looked after and would definitely recommend.

"Once in a life experience!"

This was the most incredible part of our trip to Japan and I wish we could have stayed longer. The Ryokan was perfect - good location, beautiful interior and exterior. The staff were INCREDIBLE and the service was 5 stars. The dinner experience was the most memorable thing I’ve ever done. I’ll never forget this xx
