Royal Palm South Beach Miami, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

Generally good

The beach access and outdoor dining were very good. The service was subpar in the hotel. We had to wait over an hour past our expected check in time and eventually they ended up giving us a different room.

Had an overall great experience! Very friendly staff, much larger than expected room (which we were allowed to check into before noon, as they had availability), great pools and beach access and close to everything. Highly recommend!

The stay was really peaceful and we had a great time. The beach was clean with comfortable chairs and towel service. Special thanks to the beach staff Jeffrey and Orlando for making us feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely planing to return to this place.

We liked it

Hotel was not worth the money. Rooms were filthy and staff didn’t care to help us with any of our needs. They also charged us for stuff on our credit card without permission.

Property is dated but will undergo a full refurbishment in a month. Mirjana was very friendly and helpful and sorted us out for breakfast very quickly. Breakfast was cooked fresh and had a selection of savoury and sweet items and they were able to accommodate my son who has severe food allergies.

Terrible! Old and outdated. If this is what you are looking for this is the place for you. Elevators out of service. Smell old and weed. I asked to be moved but the rep stated all the room would look that. We were on the phone trying to find another hotel. I couldn’t stand to stay in that place for even one night. If I can give no stars I would!

Hotel is a bit beat up but that seems to be norm in Miami. Pool is boring and closes early. Direct access to beach was the only reason we chose this place but we'll probably stay off beach next time to save money. Ideal location to walk to great dining.
