The rooms were clean but have a musky smell. The staff was polite and helpful. The buggies took a while to come, but it’s understandable. Checking in and out was efficient.

The aircon / aircon remote weren’t working well, the water pressure at the bathrooms were low. The hair dryer was quite weak.

We got an upgrade from Hillside 2 bedroom villa to Beachfront 2 bedroom villa & they have prepared a cake for my husband's birthday too. We are very satisfied with everything, the staff are all very helpful and service was prompt. I would recommend staying here.

The breakfast spread was so so but the taste was okay.

Breakfast buffet was good with a good variety. Hotel restaurants were pricey but good food.

The villa was quite run down- many defects found and reported. A lot of ants and pests. The jacuzzi/pool motor was very loud. The mirror in the master toilet was mouldy, the toilet seats cracked and sliding door of the toilet did not work well.

The villa was spacious (we got upgraded to premium villa due to our anniversary!), and there was shuttle service to and fro from the resort. There was also complimentary chocolate cake and bed towel deco for our special occasion.

The door card key system ran out of battery and we got stuck outside of our room for quite a while before help arrived.

Very nice, spacious and clean. Staff were amazing. Special thanks to Joko, Sajuang, and Ibror, who maintained our villa impeccably, they were very hardworking and our villa is very clean thanks to them. Also special recognition to Pak Riyyan, Pak Andri, and Pak Han, who safely drove us around the resort and always brightened our journeys with their friendly conversations and warm personalities. Our stay at Montigo was especially memorable because of them and all the other wonderful staff who made us feel welcomed and well cared for. We truly appreciate their efforts and look forward to returning again.

Slightly far from Batam Centre but hotel has a taxi service which is very convenient with friendly drivers.

The rooms and beds are nice and spacious. And the staff, especially the ones who handle the buggy, are really attentive. My grandma had a little trouble with the higher steps on the buggy, but the staff pulled out a stool like magic, making it super easy for her to get up!

Limited choices for breakfast, towels and floor mats were not provided or insufficiently provided. Had to request a few times. Certain units are not as elderly friendly as others which we were not aware.
