Montigo Resorts Nongsa

The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. The entire compound was very spacious and quiet. Food was delicious. Service staff were friendly and helpful.

Some more thought could have been put into smaller things. Our room had a pool deck, but no awning or canopy over it, making it get wet in the rain and too hot in the sun. No wall or ceiling fan in the patio area combined with a glassed up wall made it hot and stuffy.

did not get the villa until 16-45, the main pool was not open all weekend, no glasses in the villa to have a drink from so wine from a mug, the main breakfast area was was being upgraded so overall a disappointing stay compared from my first visit. The pool in the villa did not seem to be on its filtration system so on the Sunday pool was dirty.

Beautiful place to relax and good restaurants at the resort. Very convenient with their WhatsApp service. We could WhatsApp them and they will pick us up from the room within few minutes, bring towels, drinks etc. Staff was friendly and the place was not crowded with guests. Awesome with the private pool, big bathroom and huge bed. Room had hairdryer, insect spray, toothbrush, lotion and all the basics you need. Breakfast had a lot of options, but I would have preferred that they put more effort into the quality more than the huge amounts of options. The spa was very good and a must try.

A bit unlucky for us as we really liked to do some of the activities they offered like water sports and mangrove sailing, but all was not possible because of the low water tide. Also we thought there was a beach to walk along and relax, but the beach area was very small and also you could not go to the water because of some dangerous fish. I wish they would put some washable-water proof kind of mattress or something for the sun-benches at the private pool as they was very hard to lie on. Also the mattress and pillows at the outdoor sitting area had stains and not look clean. For this price you should expect it to be clean.
