Westhill Country Hotel

A 3 week stay with my wife. Pleasant clean room but no fridge or balcony. Bathroom quite small with poor shower. Staff very pleasant and helpful. No lifts. Excellent dining room with table cloths (rare now) food varied and very good quality. Table service. Drinks quite expensive. Outside swimming pool partially heated. Location poor as the name suggests high on a hill a mile or so from the coast. Local buses infrequent. Some entertainment by TV with nightly movies, Large free car park. All in all not a bad deal.

Really nice hotel. Staff helped us very much as we hat to change the booking. A bit old fashioned but that adds to the charm. Only the mattress could be harder so one does no sink in. Nice location in the hills. Two bus stops next to it.

Great hotel one of the best hotels we have stayed in better than some hotels classed as 5 Star The food was very good and well presented and always hot. The hotel is well looked after also the grounds and swimming pools a credit to the management What makes this hotel a nice place to enjoy your holiday is the staff what a credit they are to the hotel always happy to help in anyway they can and I must not forget the ones from Kenya who I think were surprised I could speak to them in Swahili Jambo .

The Westhill Country hotel is such a wonderful place! It's a family run business - very warmhearted and attentive people including their lovely dog :) The garden is so beautiful and huge, it's rather a parc, the views from the windows into the garden - a morning couldn't begin better than that! Excellent food, remarkable for this category of hotel. Once in a week a delicious barbecue in the garden, regularly really good life music in the bar area. And the big pool in the beautiful garden - perfect to relax after an active day on the island. On the whole, a place that you never want to leave again! Ah, one important point to mention last - too short for a weekend, much better fo a nice holiday week!

A good hotel with very friendly staff and excellent dining experience with table service. Good food, good value. But drinks expensive for a 3 star hotel. Swimming pool partially heated good size no time restrictions. Also hot tubs. My room on first floor wasn’t the best quite basic with a poor television reception and small screen. No bath just a shower. Low water pressure. Not a good location really high up on a hill, the clue is in the name, no good for oldies or cyclists. Poor local bus service. Although hotel has a one way morning bus transfer service free.

Lovely hotel situated just outside of the town, staff are extremely friendly and can’t do enough! Would definitely recommend!

Great service from check in to check out. All members of staff were efficient and professional. Lovely food. Well served and presented. Big breakfast set me up for the day. Very peaceful, well tended garden. A special shoutout to Fatima the housekeeper who found a ring that I’d left in my room. She had handed it in to reception before I even missed it. Thank you Fatima

Lovely area beautiful gardens and pool area Alittle but far from st helier not walkable as mainly up hill . Good if you have a car Does have courtesy bus early morning Lovely staff helpful friendly

The hotel was fine , the rooms were spotless and the grounds very well kept . The garden and pool area was very pretty . Not so keen on the aviary as felt the birds should be free not caged . Breakfast was a little lacking but the service was very good in fact all staff members were really nice . It ticked our boxes for a short stay .

Lovely week here with amazing food. Special mention for Annette who provided an evening of fabulous singing with a huge variety of songs from rock and roll to Irish folk!
