Hotel Villa Vinum Cochem

4 night stay in this little gem of a hotel, run by friendly owners and staff.Clean and beautifully decorated.large room with seating a walk in shower and balcony with view over Mosel river and the castle.Walking distance to town centre and train station.the breakfast was varied from day to day and exceptionaly good.perfect small hotel.

Had a great 2 nights at Hotel Villa Villum. Very close to the Cochem (Mosel) train station (2-3 minute walk). They had great recommendations for what to do in and around Cochem--we rented bikes and biked to Beilstein like they suggested and it was very worthwhile. They went out of their way to provide breakfast for us before leaving on an early train. Highly recommend this place for a cozy, comfortable stay in the Mosel region.

Literally across the street from the Mosel in what is one of the most famous towns of the German wine country. The hotel is family owned and run and we felt like we were at home with friends. Historical house that was totally renovated.

Our family enjoyed our stay here. We spent two nights at the hotel. The decor of the hotel and the room were very unique. The beds were very comfortable and spacious (even for the third bed which was a sofa bed). The staff was very accomodating, such as lending us iron and ironing board. The breakfast at the hotel was typical European breakfast. The price for our stay was a bit expensive, but everything else was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again and I would highly recommend! Hotel was updated and in very good condition.

This is one of those gems you find as you travel. Simply we would recommend this hotel to anyone and personally wouldnt stay anywhere else if we are back in Cochem. The hotel is run in a way that makes you feel at home. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the service great. The location was within walking distance of everything in town.

I seriously adored this hotel. It was adorably sweet, the location was perfect (only a couple minutes walk from Cochem Hbf and then five more minutes walk to the main square), the rooms were huge and absolutely gorgeous, was right across from the Mosel river (beautiful view!), and breakfast was wonderful! Seriously, I have no complaints. Okay.. maybe one. The bathrooms doors were semi-see through so that was kind of awkward.. ha. But good thing I was only vacationing with my husband ;) That was it though! Everything else was more perfect than I could've asked for. I didn't want to leave! BOOK THIS HOTEL.

We were very impressed with our view. We could see the castle through one window and the river, vineyards, and fall colors through the windows on the other wall. The hotel was very clean and lovingly cared for, though we didn't love the modern decor. Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed the bright and cheerful breakfast room.

Breakfast was very very poor Automatic lights a pain in the night as wouldn't go off straight away Room was cold The hotel hosts left hotel at night didn't return until 11.30 next day This is not a hotel I would class as a b& b Or even an expensive glorified hostel

A wonderful place to stay on the main road through town. Everyone at the hotel is exceptionally friendly and kind. Hotel is beautiful and quaint.
