When we went to Cuthbert House my expectations were very high based on the reviews I had read. However, based our own experience every one of my expectations were met and exceeded by leaps and bounds. The facility is outstanding and the Inn's staff each day made us feel welcome through their warm and friendly hospitality and accommodation. If I return to Beaufort, I will not stay anywhere but Cuthbert House.

Absolutely stunning and unforgetable stay. The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing. MiMi's cooking was fabulous and the view from the dining room spectacular. Robert was great and all the ladies at the Inn are simply the best and making sure your stay is a memorable one. From the moment you are welcomed, you feel as if you are staying with a family friend. Don't miss this place when when you visit Beaufort, SC.

I normally will read TripAdvisor reviews before I make a reservation of any sort. I am not satisfied with just scanning reviews and quickly making up my mind. I try to read between the lines. This is why I chose to stay at the Cuthbert House. And I was not disappointed. EVERYTHING was perfect. The staff and owner provided service beyond anything I expected. We only stayed for a couple nights. During the early evening social/cocktail hour the owner Mrs. Ramm would drop in and engage in conversation with of her Inn's guests. The Inn was well staffed, rooms were spotless, furnishings and decor were superb, breakfast was great, and the overall ambiance far exceeding any place I ever stayed . . . seriously! I am a believer that one oftentimes does not get what they pay for. Not so here. My advice to someone considering a stay in Beaufort, regardless of what limits you normally place on spending, you will not experience a better VALUE than the Cuthbert House.

The Cuthbert House was everything as advertised! Beautiful inside and out. Room and bath were amazing. Breakfast and snacks amazing as well. Easy, short walking to shops, restaurants and tour pickups. We enjoyed the front porch early morning and late evening. The entire staff was so attentive, accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend the Cuthbert House for your stay in Beaufort.

Recently, we had the pleasure of staying at the Cuthbert House. It was our first time staying at an Inn…it definitely won’t be our last!! Everyone and everything at Cuthbert House was first class! It is evident that so much thought goes into providing a personalized experience for each guest. The staff were absolutely amazing. Robert greeted us each morning with a delicious breakfast, Yvette reached out several times prior to and during our visit to help us plan every detail of our stay and the inn owners, Chris and Suzanne, mingled with the guests sharing experiences and providing recommendations. The staff truly elevated the experience and made us feel like family! The elegantly decorated House features a variety of spaces. While some provided us with the opportunity to congregate and engage with other guests, others offered the seclusion necessary for more intimate interactions. With an assortment of room and suite options and various price points, the Cuthbert House offers something for everyone! We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to returning soon!

After a very long and grueling road trip spanning ten states and Washington DC to deliver my father’s remains to his final resting place, my wife and I knew we would need a couple of days of rest before our return home. Having been to Beaufort, South Carolina before we knew that it would be just the ticket . We found the Cuthbert House online and it looked perfect. We couldn’t have been more right. when we arrived, we found a perfectly maintained 18th century mansion overlooking the Beaufort river. With moss covered trees in the yard, sailboats anchored in the distance, and the sun sitting over the marshes. Nothing could be more picturesque. We were immediately greeted by the concierge Yvette, who promptly explained to us all of the amenities available and provided us with a wonderful recommendation for a dinner restaurant. The entire staff from the general manager, head chef and housekeeping, managed our every need perfectly. We will definitely be back again and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true southern hospitality experience.

Wonderful historic home in downtown Beaufort. Beautiful restored with modern touches. Comfortable and spacious rooms, tastefully decorated. Special touches through out the stay. Cocktail hour, chocolates at turn down and a lovely breakfast!
