The owners and concierge team have thought of every detail to make Cuthbert House a 5 star experience. It's a great value with a chef prepared breakfast, social hour with amazing appetizers and complimentary beer/wine, evening sweet bites, turndown service with handmade chocolates. There is a stocked mini fridge in the room of complimentary soda and water. Complimentary snacks, coffee and water are available 24/7 at the bar. The house is exquisite and each member of the concierge team is eager to exceed your expectations. During our stay there was a loss of power due to a thunder storm during social hour but the concierge and GM carried on with with battery lamps, battery candle votives and kept the wine flowing. The free onsite parking was most convenient. Can't wait to return in cooler months to enjoy the beautiful patio and the fire pit area.

We had a perfect 4 days at the Cuthbert House. Excellent in every way possible. Location perfect, food perfect, room perfect, very calming.

The Cuthbert House Inn is perfectly located for a short walk into the Historic District of Beaufort, SC. The detail to which The Cuthbert House has been restored is exquisite. . .refined Southern decor throughout. Thoughtful touches abound, and the atmosphere is genuinely welcoming. We stayed in the Ballroom, which is large, decorated to offer maximum comfort and beauty, and offers views of the Beaufort River. Breakfast includes a variety of sweet breads (some baked in-house), fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, as well as a daily hot entree made fresh in their kitchen by the chef. The French Press coffee is a special blend made only for The Cuthbert House. (I recommend purchasing a bag before you leave!) Truly, each morning we looked forward to breakfast! At The Cuthbert House, we stepped back in history, but enjoyed all of the modern comforts.

This Inn is perfection! Everything about it! From when we came and Karen greeted us with warmth and joy! We had Social Hour with Chris and Suzanne, the owners and our fellow guests each night 5:00-6:00 with wine/beer and delicious appetizers! So fun! We even went to dinner with some couples that were guests and had a blast! Our room was beautiful and perfect! Delicious linens etc. They gave us towels for the beach AND a beach pass. No detail was missed! Oh, did I mention delightful breakfast each morning too. We will be back and for SURE stay there! Can’t say enough good, the best hospitality I have ever enjoyed.

The Cuthbert House is the best! I have stayed at many B&B's and 5 star hotels and this is without a doubt the loveliest place we have stayed. From the moment you arrive, you are cared for and everything is calming and luxurious. The breakfasts are fantastic, the happy hours are too. Everyone on the Cuthbert House team went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We borrowed their beach towels, chairs and pass to spend a couple of days at the beach. We borrowed the bikes for a cruise around town to check out the pretty town of Beaufort. There was no extra cost for these services either. Our anniversary was all the sweeter for having stayed here. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cuthbert House Inn. Each year, my wife and I celebrate our anniversary by visiting a different bed and breakfast in a new state, and this year’s stay exceeded all of our expectations. If we had to choose a single highlight, it would be the exceptional location. The inn is perfectly situated—close to everything yet just far enough from the busier areas to provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The views from the property were absolutely stunning and, without a doubt, the best we've experienced at any B&B we’ve visited. Beyond the beautiful setting, the inn itself is charming and well-maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for local activities that made our trip even more enjoyable. Cuthbert House Inn has definitely set a new standard for us. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

Staying two nights at the Cuthbert house exceeded my expectations in many ways. Starting with a warm welcome, the sweet treats, 5 PM happy hour served swith delectable hors d’oeuvres and meeting the owners and staff, all good people that make this home a great one! The first days hospitality extended into the morning with a most delicious breakfast. The facilities are beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to immerse yourself in true southern comfort.

Lovely antebellum inn! Hosts Suzanne and Chris, as well as all the staff, are so gracious and helpful. We loved the social hour each evening with wine and hors d’oeuvres and the lovely breakfasts. It’s so relaxing to sit on the veranda and look across at the sailboats in the Beaufort River. This was our fourth stay and we look forward to next year!

I stayed at the Cuthbert house for my best friend’s wedding and I seriously didn’t want to leave! Everything was perfect - the room was incredible and the morning breakfast was my favorite. I’d HIGHLY recommend staying here if you have the chance.
