Dorsett Wuhan

I was totally surprised to find so good facility for such price, high value for paid money Located in a heart of central walking street with lot of shops arround. Just 15 minutes walking from the river with great view, live music jazz bar, other night clubs.

The room was spacious. The food of the Hong Kong style restaurant tasted good. It is nearby he shopping district and MTR. My wife could safely do her shopping while I was in the meetings. The conference room and venue for company event are good as well. The free tea buffet was less attractive given the cakes were not fresh. The staff tried but failed to make good English Tea.

Great hotel, only problem is the staff have little English language understanding.The apartments are above the Marriot hotel and have great views. My room was on the 35th floor. The apartment is 2 levels with plenty of room, great beds & 2 bathrooms. Note Google is censored in China so Wifi is great if you have a VPN outside of China to get gmail etc.

Stay here for 4 nights in late Feb 2016. The location is super good, just next to the main shopping street with lots of fast fashion brands like Bossini, Nike. Fun walking street with great variety of foods, ranging from Pizza Hut to Starbucks and many local dining places, open till very late. The hotel's breakfast is very very good, especially with the price we paid for... Its only minus is the mediocre view of city and/or river, in which pretty standard for Chinese cities.

Pretty comfortable

Location was spot on. Close to restaurants and the metro as well as the shopping and markets at night. The hotel staff were excellent and a couple spoke a bit of English. Which was a great help. I would recommend this hotel.

Visited during Chinese New Year. This is at most a 2-star hotel only. Just basic facilities and little service. Breakfast is disappointing.

Overall hotel is good and the location is good however service is average! Good priced

Had a great time in Wuhan,thanks to the fantastic person who showed me around. Enjoyed the food immensely,loved the mad taxi rides and the more sedate ones on the bus.Found public transport especially buses very cheap and the food really reasonably priced and great eating. Enjoyed looking through the shops in the mall and got a couple of bargains I think.First time I have encountered crowds of people in these numbers, but enjoyed it, and didnt feel unsafe at all even at night just walking around in the vicinity of the hotel. May not come back to Wuhan, but will definitely visit China again.
