We finally got to stay in Inchydoney for two nights,something we promised ourselves over the yrs so we went for our wedding anniversary in October.Lovely welcome, very helpful staff and fabulous view from the room.Only downside was hot breakfast wasnt very hot on both mornings and hot trays of food in breakfast buffet tray ran out before breakfast time was actually finished. Overall we loved our stay,cant wait to return asap
Great 2 days. Wish I had found this hotel earlier as I would have stayed longer. Fantastic location and very comfortable bed. For me it's all about the bed.
Magical stay in this beautifully located Hotel overlooking the beach. The Hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and we had a wonderful stay! We will definitely be returning soon.
The stay was excellent. The only downside was there is no entertainment at night during the week so needed go to clonakilty, which meant one of us needed to drive or arrange a taxi.
Attended a wedding reception here over the weekend. Our two nights stay was just not enough! As someone who travels the world with work, staying in a different hotel every week, I found Inchydoney to be right up there with the very best. A comfortable relaxing place, with excellent service and food. Wifi was available through out the hotel. Pretty, bright, clean interesting lobby area, with plenty of comfy seats. Beautiful room with stunning views, comfortable bed with fresh quality bed linen. We enjoyed the sauna and the swimming pool with the warm seawater. No smelly chemicals here. We were very impressed to read about Inchydoney's enviromental green heating and hot water system and how they care for our planet. This should be advertised more! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
Lovely hotel on a summers day near the beach. Bit old fashioned as far as the t.v. is concerned . We couldn't watch it because the reception was so bad and it didn't seem to have utv Ireland.
We stayed at inchydony for three days as part of our honeymoon in mid August. The staff at the hotel were great, very attentive. The facilities were also great, my wife really enjoyed the spa. Inchydonny beach is beautiful as is the town of Clonakilty. The only negative for us was the resort was full of families with young kids, which could make breakfast and dinner in the cheaper pub bistro less relaxing than it could have been. The acoustics in the pub were bad which meant when a few of them started misbehaving it was quite intrusive. Communal areas like residents lounge and swimming pool also suffered somewhat. We still had a great time, but given the price we paid, if I had done more thorough research I would have stayed somewhere else.
A couple of points...Our room was very dusty but when we pointed it out was corrected the following morning. As a vegetarian staying for 6 nights I struggled with menu options in the bar and restaurant .. Everything else was excellent ....
