AluaSun Continental Park Hotel & Apartments

Lovely hotel and rooms, especially room 501 definitely best room in hotel fantastic view and quiet, food was good but often just warm although a variety and enough to choose from , rooms serviced daily and staff continuously cleaning. Entertainment during the day was good, the lady doing it for our 5 days (07-12 September) tried to get everyone involved and she did a great job at aqua aerobics! Entertainment during the night was good for a few nights and not so good on one of the nights (personal preference only that I didn’t enjoy) Our experience with reception was amazing on our first night, we arrived at 1am and were told that a cold buffet was still available for us (great - we were starving!) when we arrived at our room after food, I realised I had lost my phone - I was gutted all my memories gone… thinking I had lost it on route but unsure Juan Antonio took it upon himself to search the reception and restaurant.. he found it! For context, we called down at 01:30am and Juan rang at 3am to say he had found it.. not only did he find it but brought it up to room 501 too - i am so grateful to him, this man deserves a special shout out!

The location of the hotel is excellent - 5-minute walk to the beautiful Playa de Muro, with plenty of shops nearby and bus stops close, making it easy to explore different parts of the island. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily, with a spacious bathroom and towel changes available whenever needed. Sheets can also be changed on request. On arrival, our room wasn’t perfectly clean, but the situation improved during the stay. Beds are not the most comfortable, but acceptable. Occasionally there was a slight sewer smell, which happens on islands, so it wasn’t a major issue. The food was good in both quality and taste, though the selection was not as wide as in some other 4-star hotels I’ve visited. The coffee was to be honest disgusting but since I’m not a big coffee drinker, this didn’t bother me much. The dining area itself was always clean and well maintained. The staff were generally very kind and helpful, especially at reception, in the dining area, and among the cleaning team. The bar staff seemed a little less enthusiastic, apart from one blonde lady (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember) who was always nice. A special mention goes to the animation team – Andrea and Daha. They were fantastic: friendly, energetic, and genuinely uplifting. Thanks to them, the atmosphere in the hotel was much livelier and more enjoyable. Activities organized by the team were well-balanced – some more active, others more relaxed – so both introverts and extroverts could find something they liked. Evening shows were held every day, sometimes featuring external performers like singers, dancers, or magicians. Personally, I loved the bingo evenings led by the animators. The swimming pool and surrounding area were spotless, with a lifeguard always on duty. There were plenty of sunbeds, which were comfortable and always available (at least in September). On rainy day, the hotel made sure guests still had things to do indoors, which was a great touch. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it, especially for couples of all ages.

I made a reservation in May 2025 for two apartments and one double room for 10 people (two children and two babies included). When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that there was a problem with the rooms and that we should have moved to another hotel in a different area (without asking if we agreed). They also informed us that an email had been sent to the agency three days earlier, an email that never arrived. We realized the problem with the rooms was overbooked. We requested a copy of the email sent to the agency, but to date, no one has sent it or contacted us. The hotel reception staff was arrogant (except for a lady named Lina, who tried to smooth things over but was unable to do anything). I don't recommend it unless you want to be placed where you don't want to be, without your opinion being taken into account. They lack professionalism and integrity. Fiz uma reserva em Maio de 2025, para 2 apartamentos e 1 quarto duplo para 10 pessoas (2 crianças e 2 bebés incluídos) e quando chegamos ao hotel foi-nos informado que havia um problema com os quartos e que devíamos ter ido para outro hotel e noutra zona (sem nos ser questionado se concordavamos) e que tinham enviado email para a agência 3 dias antes, email que nunca chegou. Percebemos que o problema com os quartos era overbooking. Solicitamos uma cópia do email que foi enviado para a agência e até à data nunca mais ninguém nos enviou ou contatou. Funcionários na recepção do hotel arrogantes (à excepção de uma senhora Lina que tentou amenizar as coisas mas sem conseguir fazer nada). Não recomendo, a não ser que queiram ser colocados onde não querem e sem ter em conta a vossa opinião. Sem profissionalismo e seriedade.

A good hotel, small clean, well kept, good catering, good facilities, pool, gym, darts, table tennis, bar side pool, good variety and good quality entertainment with engaging staff, central location.

Loud music till late, small room, squeaky uncomfy bed, no sound proofing at all, room lets in light from the corridor, food is not great. Don't know why you would come here....
