Sehr gutes Abendessen und Frühstück, Zimmer aufgrund des historischen Bestands zwar etwas eng, aber es mangelt an nichts, Bad modern, sehr sauber, nettes Personal.Super Ausngangspunkt für Besuche des Hadrianswalls und der römischen Ruinen. In schöner Landschaft gelegenes Örtchen.

Simply excellent breakfast and evening meal. This was absolutely top notch pub food. The cleanliness was some of the best we have ever discovered and is a credit the owners and staff.

The room size but I guess you get what you pay for. We were only there one night so reserved the lowest priced room.

From the beginning to the welcome the staff was friendly and helpful. All was very clean and the breakfast was very good!

De sfeer van de Inn/herberg. De vriendelijkheid van personaal. En de eigenaar Andy kan fantastisch koken.

De vloer van onze kamer liep wat schuin af en het tapijt voelde hobbelig. We moesten er even aan wennen. Maar ja, een beetje scheef hoort wel bij een inn uit het jaar 1190 (geen typefout)

Very nice hotel in a beautiful old building, the bedroom and the bathroom were very well appointed and comfortable. The dinner and the breakfast were delicious, and the staff friendly and welcoming.

For a pub the room was nice and large. We had a lovely welcome from everybody and the attention to detail was very high which made our stay very comfortable. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent. The Red Lion is the oldest building in Newbrough and is proud of displaying its history which we enjoyed reading about. Such a great pub in a delightful village and so near the Roman sites (by car) and we regretted we had only a one day stay as we were travelling north. Would definitely visit again.
