Red Lion Inn

We stayed at The Red Lion Inn for 2 nights B&B recently while touring the area. This is our second stay here and would definitely visit again. It is a great place to eat, drink and sleep in beautiful surroundings. The staff and locals are very friendly and welcoming. The food was so delicious we ate here both of the evenings. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. I would definitely recommend this Inn.

Breakfast was delicious, you could tell the produce was of a high quality. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was equally enjoyable. The pub is in a beautiful setting, really peaceful, and everyone was really friendly.

The bathroom was fine and met our requirements but it could do with an update considering how lovely everything else is about the stay. We also couldn't work the blind over the window. These are very minor things though.

Spotlessly clean Lovely decor/towels/bedlinen/toiletries Pub was welcoming Dinner and breakfast delicious with lovely presentation. Nice touch to have fruit platter at breakfast. Owner and staff were welcoming and friendly and took us to our room which was lovely.

If I had to find something I’d say it would be good to serve a better quality bread for toast as everything else with the stay felt high end - especially the way it was presented at the table.

The landlord and staff were very welcoming and we had a delicious evening meal, a game of bingo with the locals and a fine cooked full English breakfast the following morning, after a very peaceful good nights sleep. We couldn't ask for more. My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Red Lion.
