Room smaller than anticipated. Limited sockets therefore more difficult for charging

The staff on arrival were very pleasant though a little overworked for the multi tasking required. The waiter at breakfast was friendly and obliging but the food was disappointing (masses of very hard granola with too little yoghurt and none of the promised fruit until we asked). Coffee was instant so we made the coffee from the coffee machine ourselves. We felt so sorry for the waiter because he was very kind and patient and he was trying his best. Things got sorted out though when someone arrived who I suspect was the usual person on duty.

Dinner was disappointing and not that cheap for what it was. But we were comparing it to the last time we stayed at the Roebuck when under other management.

No anti slip mat so shower was really slippery to get out of.

Breakfast was lovely and had a nice chat with the owner. I was the only one at breakfast on an early March Tuesday morning so I was well looked after. Dinner in the pub the night before was fantastic, really tasty and such a large portion that I took some away in a doggy bag and put in a chilly car boot! Had it when I got home and just as delicious. The room was clean and comfortable and near to the pub, obviously, but not noisy. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful.

Bathroom could do with an update sometime, but everything worked, so not a complaint.

Good clean accommodation, very friendly staff with fine food and drinks. What more could you want.
