An average hotel that is comfortable Unfortunately my room smelt very musty on arrival and even after opening windows remained so. Housekeeping did their best to get rid of the mustiness but although improved it did remain in some form for the 2 nights. Unfortunately I could not be moved to another room as the hotel was fully booked. The hotel generally is quite tired looking but staff are really helpful and pleasant
The First 'family room' we had you could barely move in, we moved after a looking at many rooms in the Hotel to a new room, which was full of cobwebs, the balcony was rotten and the umbrella broken. Our Daughters stayed on mattresses on the floor which were badly stained. A kind receptionist took pity on us and allowed us to move, despite the Manager being in the enxt few days he did at no point come and speak to us. We booked two rooms totally 7 nights, I would have thought he would have spoken to us.
A spacious room in a lovely 300 year old stone farmhouse and gardens. Peaceful setting, about 1/2 mile from Cobo Bay. Good bathroom with the necessary toiletries provided. A friendly and helpful greeting. My bar meal was tasty, although dessert was a long time coming! I did not like the stuffed bulls head on the wall :-( Breakfast was buffet with an excellent selection. I would be happy to recommend this hotel.
Convient for bus service. Rooms could do with better sound proofing.
Lovely stay and value for money, room quite tight to get round when childrens beds were out. The room was clean and beds made daily. We ate one evening meal at the hotel which was ok, breakfast was fantastic and plenty of it. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful, afternoon receptionist not very chatty, all in all a lovely stay and we will definitely stay there again.
Old hotel old guests not soundproof rooms dogs allowed in rooms barking very sub standard breakfast
Enjoyed everything about our stay. Rooms were just right for our stay, clean and comfortable and all the little added extras are perfect. Staff were all very friendly, especially Flávio our waiter. The chef was complimented each night on his excellent food. Good wines to chose from and the locally brewed "Monty" beer went down well after a day in the fresh air.
I had a lovely time; beds comfortable such nice attentive staff too.
Brill staff and hotel
The Hotel was well presented and staff were very frendly
