It's a wonderful experience and a very beautiful resort. We love the privacy and the sound of nature around us. The staff are very kind and accommodating. The room is fantastic I love the bathroom and the pool. The food is also good a bit pricey but worth the spend.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Farm at San Benito! For food, we tried Soufflé de Vie—at first we thought the prices were expensive, but when we tasted the dishes, it truly reflected the chef’s talent. The linguine pasta, chicken, and especially the mashed potato were outstanding. We now have a very high standard for mashed potato—the best we’ve ever had! We also dined at Pesce, and everything we ordered was delicious. The price was just right considering the top-notch quality of the food. Highly recommended dishes are the prawns, which were perfectly juicy, and the tuna steak, which was both guilt-free and the best we’ve tried. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight—light, healthy, and with a variety of offerings to suit every preference. Another spot we enjoyed was the Upperdeck Restaurant. We loved that they offer a mix of cuisines, including Filipino dishes—perfect if you’re craving comforting rice meals. The staff deserves a special mention. Everywhere we went, they were warm and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we were taken care of. A big shoutout to Kuya Alex—we kept noticing him serving us at different times, he is everywhere, even in in-room dining haha! He was so accommodating and always willing to go the extra mile for all the guests. The whole property itself is amazing—walking around surrounded by nature was so refreshing, and breathing in the clean air felt healing. The room was also lovely, and we were very thankful for the upgrade they gave us in celebration of my husband’s birthday. He especially loved the bathtub and really enjoyed it. Thank you so much, The Farm, for this sweet gesture! Overall, everyone at The Farm is amazing and the whole place is perfect if you’re looking to reconnect with nature, enjoy delicious food, and be surrounded by genuine hospitality. Truly a memorable experience—we wish to go back soon!

Subject: Feedback Regarding Our Recent Stay from September 24-26, 2025 To the Management of The Farm at San Benito, My partner and I have long considered The Farm our premier destination for reconnecting with nature, celebrating special occasions, and experiencing genuine pampering. It is because of our high regard for your establishment that we feel it is important to share our feedback regarding our recent two-night stay, which, unfortunately, did not meet the standard we have come to expect. While aspects of our visit were exceptional—particularly the skill of the wellness therapists and the quality of the treatments themselves—we were consistently let down by significant maintenance and facility issues that impacted our comfort and safety. Upon arrival at our initial villa, we were disappointed to find it did not reflect the presentation on your website or booking agencies. The room had an unpleasant odor, which was also present in the bathroom. During rainfall, the ceiling leaked, and the private garden featured a broken fountain that had become a stagnant breeding ground for mold and mosquitoes, rather than a source of serenity. We brought these concerns to your staff, who promptly arranged a move to a better villa. We sincerely appreciate this responsive action, though we believe such a fundamental issue should not have occurred in the first place. Specific Safety and Maintenance Concerns: 1. Electrical Hazard in Treatment Room: During our first wellness service, I attempted to turn on a flickering light. The switchboard was completely broken and exposed, with live wiring accessible to the touch. I could have easily been electrocuted. When mentioned, the therapists indicated it was a recent issue, but the condition suggested a prolonged lack of maintenance. For a premium service, this was an unacceptable safety failure. 2. Dining Area Safety Hazard: At the breakfast buffet, a large puddle of water on the floor was coming from the salad bar, which lacked proper insulation or a drip tray. There were no "Wet Floor" signs or any precautionary measures to alert guests to this slipping hazard in a high-traffic area. 3. Lack of Response to a Guest Injury: The maintenance related hazard issue became a reality later on the path to the 300-year-old Mango Tree, where I slipped and fell hard due to a thick, unmaintained layer of moss. While I continued to carefully finish my walk through the area, (after the fall), I informed a passing staff member with a Housekeeping ID. However, no one from your team followed up—no one came to assist me on the path, called our room, or sought me out to investigate the incident or file a report. · Furthermore, during our wellness treatment that afternoon, I mentioned the fall and showed my swollen knees to the therapists, who kindly provided ice packs. However, it was concerning that the management was not made aware or did not take the initiative to approach me regarding a guest injury that occurred on the property. A simple wellness check from a manager would have been appropriate. 4. Substandard Facility Conditions: The hydrotherapy experience was diminished by an unhygienic piece of cloth being used as a tub stopper and a makeshift blue PVC pipe serving as a showerhead. A subsequent treatment in a different room revealed similar issues: water dripping from walls, a constantly running toilet, a dripping faucet, and a chipped bathtub that posed a risk of bruising. For services costing ₱8-14,000 ++ per person, these details fell far short of the luxury standard promised. 5. Service Lapse: On our final morning, a room service breakfast was left uncovered on our lanai, resulting in it being contaminated by flies. While the restaurant manager handled the situation well with an apology and a replacement, the initial error pointed to a lapse in protocol. We share this detailed feedback because, as you know, a stay at The Farm is a significant investment. Guests, including ourselves, save and plan for an experience that promises excellence, safety, and well-being. It is deeply disappointing when the reality does not align with this expectation or the premium price point, especially when incidents involving guest safety are not proactively addressed. We truly hope this review can be used to address these operational and maintenance gaps, restoring The Farm to the world-class retreat we know it can be.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are all wonderful. However, for SEA, it’s priced like a luxury hotel without providing the amenities typically found at a luxury hotel.
