Hotel Apartement La Perle

The apartment is very clean and beautiful. It is near to railway station. The bathrooms had Rolex fittings! The staff expects you to carry hand washing soap, dish washer power, scrubber, and other cleaning supplies. The staff will lift phone only once, and ignore all the latter calls. The request to provide hand washing soap was summarily dismissed. There is 20 CHF cleaning charges.

Excellent Hotel to Stay. Very close to Train Station and walkable.

pillows are too soft and uncomfortable, please provide enough pillows for us.

It was good enough for us . The location wasn't too bad . Short walk from the train station.

Although the rate was expensive, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here : 1. Quiet, stress free and relaxing atmosphere 2. Fresh clean air (only electric vehicles are permitted in Zermatt, hence no pollution) 3. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains from our room 4. Friendly, efficient and helpful staff 5. Well equipped kitchenette 6. Cosy and comfortable apartment 7. Zermatt is a quaint little town, possibly boring place but totally relaxing place to unwind 8. Within walking distance from the Zermatt Train station 9. Starting point for the Glacier Express (spectacular scenery !!) ending in St Moritz

I knew this was going to be a no-frills stay and this place was in the right price range compared to what else I was finding. I was pleasantly surprise. Although not recently remodeled or anything, it was very clean. There is a simple self check in and out. We are a family of 4 and expected to all be in the same room- found that we had a private bedroom, 2 single Murphy beds in the living area plus a couch and TV. Batroom, although not modern, was spacious and clean. Kitchen area had all the equipment we needed to prepare our breakfast and dinner. Worth the money for the high price area. There is a Denner up the street and a COOP 10 min away across from the train station. There was an additional $20 cleaning fee that is not mentioned when booking through www.hotels.com which would have been nice to know about- that is my only complaint.

We struggled finding it at first, on the small map provided form the Info center it was showing across the street from where it was. But really enjoyed the hotel. Great deep tub for a hot bath after a walk in Gornegrat. Very close to Train and downtown, but then again everything in Zermatt is… We never did see any staff and that was a bit strange, hence my lower rating on that section. We were on the first floor overlooking the garden with a shared long terrace.
