Atlantica Mikri Poli Kos

We expected a lovely family resort for our family of 4 with two children under 2 years: When we arrived we had to wait 1.5 hours to get checked in due to only one receptionist working after this a very grumpy man who man took us on a buggy to our room, when we arrived to have our bags dumped/dropped at the top of the steps, Yes steps down to our room. With the kids and the pushchair i was unable to manage this on my own meaning we would have to go everywhere as a 4. The rooms were lovely, air con looked and felt brand new, lots of storage, double sink and a large but slippy shower. Our room was a great location to everything only a 2 minute walk to the main restaurant (unlike my extended family who were at the top of the hill on the other side of the resort) The pools were lovely but the opening times or lack of were extremely disappointing especially in the 48 degree heat we experienced. 10-6 I’m sorry is a very short window especially for kids and those that like to stay out later and enjoy the full sun. For those reasons alone me nor my family would go back. The food was nice in all restaurants and had a children’s area at a lower level so most could be independent with getting their food. The daytime food was the best part for me, Pasta, Pizza, sandwiches and the favourite Gyros which I dream about now I’m home. A good variety of ice cream although the young lady serving this was slightly terrifying. The pool entertainment was brilliant and I think had something for every age group. It’s a 10 minute walk into the local town which was a lovely place to be we walked two evenings but was told that there was a bus. All in all I wasn’t massively happy with it and the 5* it was shown at when we booked is an exaggeration. We enjoyed our stay due to being with our family but was expect much more.

Johanna provided a relaxing massage. The pressure applied was as required to remove knots in muscles around neck and shoulders. She made sure to take account of injury to my hand and worked on an old injury to my left shoulder. The areas feel better as a result of the massage.

Arrived to lovely welcome with buggy to take us to our room. Food and drink were great, plenty of choice.Staff especially Chester were all super friendly, enjoyed aquasize! Only down side for us was too many steps and slopes for people with mobility problems like myself. Maybe this should be highlighted on website?

Go see Panos for a massage. He is in the Spa. An amazing massage pleasantly and with very positive energy. I recommend it to you !!!

Brilliant hotel- so much for kids to do and the beach just across the road is beautiful. Breakfast is always really good and the staff Zografina & Mersina are so kind- they can’t do enough for you and are always so friendly- my daughter loved them! Would highly recommend.

Slight down points.... Although this is now 1 hotel after being 2 separately, it still feels more like 2 because of distance, very steep walking back up to the rooms at the top of the site, they other golf buggy transfer for people who would struggle with the climb but unless you can't make the walk physically it's not worth asking and waiting, not enough sun beds for every customer either across both sides of the site, I believe you should be able to have a sun bed for every single guest should they require one, this hotel definitely did not. Italian was not a la carte either as it was buffet. no problem with the food, just not table service other than drinks, sliding door family room on the slightly small side and view obscured by tree. Good points..... All staff, HV and hotel staff are exceptional, hard working and extremely professional, facilities at the hotel are brilliant, beach was good, would just like a bar down at the beach so you don't have to walk back up to the hotel. I would recommend the hotel to my friends and just highlight the niggling issues which shouldn't alter your enjoyment of the holiday, none of the above issues altered what was a wonderful 9 day holiday

Lovely relaxing massage from Panos, an hour went too quickly! I would highly recommend booking in and experiencing an hour of peace and tranquility amongst the holiday fun 💕

Très beau complexe hôtelier. Les piscines sont super chouette, les chambres aussi. Il fait relativement propre. Point négatif : le membre du personnel pas toujours agréable et la nourriture un peu trop British pour un hotel grec

We visited in June 2025 with a family and had an amazing time. We found the rooms were clean, pools were not to cold and the food was great. Would definitely recommend. Staff are all friendly and helpful. I don't see what all the negative reviews are all about because we really enjoyed and had an amazing time.

I had a wonderfully relaxing massage with Panos. The treatment lasted 70 minutes and included a full body and scalp massage. The whole experiencing was excellent and I would recommend this treatment to others
