Spacious comfortable rooms with everything we needed for our stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Absolutely loved the bath which I took advantage of after a 40 hour work week. Great location and easy parking, no noise issues despite being next to the road. Fantastic cooked breakfasts. Bonus points for jelly beans. 10/10 would recommend to others and stay here again.

The room was very warm ( it was a sunny day ) but the lion provided a fan which was helpful.

Staff friendly, nice room, very comfortable bed, lovely meal in restaurant, very rustic and characteristic.

Could hear occupants of other room as they had a dog but not a big problem

It was a good sized room and the welcome was really nice, it has a nice patio area and great space for parking.

Dinner was a bit disappointing. The menus are not the same as what is on Google, the steak we ordered one with the garlic butter on the side and it was on the wrong steak. It seemed like it they had too many customers to accommodate to and it took a long time for the food to come. I requested to have the pork belly bites as a main slice of pork belly which I was declined to have - I thought maybe it came pre sliced to find that it was actually cut up as the starter, so had to pick something else with mainly fish dishes or a hot chicken burger the most expensive option was the choice. The brownies for desert was kindly placed in a take away box as requested but this was also burnt. On returning the room we noticed there was a lot of dust near the headboard and when trying to sleep the door from room one slammed several times waking us and our dog up. The bed was massive but when we pulled back the quilt it was slanted on one side.

Well run. Friendly staff. Lovely food. Well appointed room tastefully decorated. Lovely touches- tea coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. Jelly beans which were addictive. Great bathroom lotions and potions. Thank you
