Excellent breakfast. Lovely evening meal in restaurant. Friendly staff. Good car parking Good bathroom with plenty of hot water Quiet location. Great for dogs.

Bedroom looked a little tired but bed was clean and comfortable.

Size of room was nice. Food in restaurant was good. Close to Glastonbury Tor.

Room was cold and heating did not work. The hot water took minutes ( literally a very long time) to come through. Excuse was "it's an old building", but old buuldings can have heating and hot water that works. Bed was also (in comparrison) quite small.

Breakfast and evening meals were nicely cooked and tasty. The bar had a good selection of beers and wines. The fridge in the room with fresh milk provided daily was a nice touch.

Breakfasts were very good, the room was excellent, The evening meals were very enjoyable with a wide choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I was very impressed that even though there was a full dining room service was amazingly fast.

The only little niggle was that the shower/ bath screen in our room was prone to leak. The television did have a tendency to to drop out (freeze up), but I am sure it was to do with the pub's location,

Breakfast was included and was fantastic, cooked to order every morning with the option of croissants and cereal. Bedroom & Bathroom were incredible and cleaned daily

Friendly staff and near to Glastonbury

The bedroom walls were a bit thin. Could hear next door muffled conversation- not ideal.

We recently stayed at the Lion for 4 nights and had a great experience. On arrival to our room it very clean and cosy with plentiful toiletries and tea, coffee and fresh milk and also a little jar of sweets in the room, a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely, continental and also a hot menu, the food was very good and came very quickly. Barrie the owner was very efficient and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. He went out of his way to recommend places to visit in Somerset and places to dine in the area. We did eat in the hotel and both our dishes were very tasty, sea bass and fish and chips. You can see Barrie and staff run a very friendly and professional hotel. We would not hesitate to return here if in the area again. A very relaxed and lovely stay with a nice chilled vibe. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming! 😊🦁
