"Very nice , will come again but will ask re larger toilet space bathroom"

Bed with great , room clean , staff nice . Bed , breakfast clean lovley dogs free fabulous.

King room bath was fabulous but toilet was too close very little room too move on toilet , rest was amazing . And no way too Contact staff after hours and our kettle went so we waited till morning but was then sorted shame overnight re kettle , no numbers of anyone too help with this .

"Exceptional Place!"

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and our forth time eating here. I cannot recommend The Lion enough. We love coming down here. The rooms are outstanding, every detail thought of. The food is delicious and plentiful, very generous portions. I highly recommend the Pink Lemonade cocktail! What sets this place apart as a fab place to stay are the staff. They are attentive and helpful. They take the time to chat and get to know you and are a great laugh. Looking forward to returning again!

"Excellent food"

Went for dinner Saturday evening. Friendly, professional staff. Nice atmosphere. Excellent food, nicely presented and delicious. Wanted to order more deserts than is acceptable behaviour! I am not often impressed with pub food in this price range, so delighted. Will definitely return .
