"Wonderful short break at The Lion"

Great stay. The lion is a lovely old place, full of character. We stayed one night to see the area. Room 8 was beautiful. Decoration and bathroom superb with all things needed. Tea coffee toiletries hairdryer. Also great for the dog, small grass area. Meal in restaurant was delicious and breakfast even more so. People Staff so friendly, thank you all for making our stay with you perfect!

The friendly and helpful staff. The beautiful and well kept old building in a little village not on a main road. Great situation for exploring the area. Plenty of parking. Great food. Unspoilt views across the countryside and peaceful surroundings.

A few repair issues required in rooms ie shower dripping, wobbly toilet seat

"Great rooms friendly staff"

Large room well decorated beautiful bathroom. Welcoming staff.

The road is quite close so can be a little noisy. But there was double glazing in my room and I used ear plugs so slept well.

"Lovely dog friendly stay"

Lovely cosy traditional pub with a modern twist. Had a large dog friendly room with super king size bed and large bathroom with separate bath and rainfall shower. Staff were brilliant, especially the guy on reception desk last night and serving breakfast this morning.

Everything was good!
