This hotel is close to the central train station and at a walking distance to old Zürich and the lake. It is being renovated and the new rooms are wonderful. It’s staff is the best asset as people like Franco, Adrian and Leo, who received us whole- heartedly. I felt at home and well attended. I appreciate their enthusiasm and friendly spirit. The girls who serve at the breakfast buffet where excellent. We were received by Mai, a wonderful Spanish girl and served by an Argentine gal (Estefania) both who made us feel at home.

Exceptionally comfortable stay! Very nice amenities and excellent dining options. Enjoyed the location and proximity to all my planned activities. Great balcony, great views, comfortable bed, extra pillows, nice coffee machine and snack options.

Great hotel with amazing views, right in the middle of the town, closest to the train station! The hotel staff were very kind and hospitable, great customer service. Breakfast was the one to die for… We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and will be coming back for sure!

Bed was amazing, so comfortable. I never sleep well when I’m away but this bed was so great I slept very well. Hotel room was nice, spacious with a great view of the mountains. Staff nice and friendly.

An excellent hotel with superb facilities. Spa and Sauna is really high standard. Also mention about the restaurant, delicious food, affordable price and super good atmosphere. The tiger prawn with lobster is superb! Braised beef pasta is also excellent too.

The hotel had excellent service through the whole trip. The trip itself was amazing with the good skiing, great food, and a very nice town. Overall we all had a lot of fun and a great time and we hope we catch visit again soon. Thank you for a great trip.

We had an amazing experience at the Schweizerhof Hotel. From the fantastic service to the delicious food and cocktails, and from the beautifully appointed rooms to the convenient amenities (such as ski rentals and spa), the hotel was truly the perfect home base for a long ski weekend in Zermatt. We will definitely be back—and next time for longer! Thank you for a fantastic stay!
