Lakaz Chamarel Exclusive Lodge

The Lakaz Chamarel Accommodation is like an oasis. I don't think I've ever seen nature like it; even in a forest, it's like nature on steroids. We stayed in the sea-view suites and the views were unbelievable, topped only by the view from the View Bar cocktail bar, which we went to every evening for sunset to see the phenomenal view. The staff are super friendly and the cocktail menu is brilliant. The food is also great and wholesome, while not fine dining. Nearly every meal hit the spot.

There's not much to not like about this hotel. The only reason why I'd say it's not perfect 10/10 is because sometimes the staff do some very peculiar things like telling you there's no bacon and then bringing you a plate of bacon. It's just some level of service that you would get in a five-star hotel that you don't get at the dining table when you eat. To reiterate the staff are super friendly

Very peaceful and relaxing spot to stay in Mauritius compared to the other choices near the beaches. The staff is very accommodating and helpful.

Diese Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich schön. Wir waren schon das 2. Mal dort und werden auch ein 3. Mal buchen. Es gibt eigentlich alles, was das Herz begehrt und die Lage ist, anders als die Beach-Hotels, einzigartig und ganz besonders. Man ist umgeben von Vogelgezwitscher, traumhafter Fauna und entspanntem, sehr freundlichen Personal. Der Blick von der View Bar ist atemberaubend und unvergesslich. Mit einem gemieteten Auto erreicht man hier tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe oder den wunderschönen Strand von Le Morne. In dem nächsten Ort La Gaulette ist ein großer Supermarkt in dem man super einkaufen kann.

Incredible property, rooms lovely, very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views throughout. The food was excellent and dinner menu changed daily. What made this stay so memorable were the staff - very warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

Der Empfang war ausgesprochen herzlich, und das gesamte Team zeigte sich überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Ein rundum herausragender Service wird geboten! Das gesamte Areal ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und durchdacht gestaltet. Die einzelnen „Lakaz“ sind großzügig über das Gelände verteilt, was ein hohes Maß an Privatsphäre garantiert. Ein absolutes Highlight: der Sundowner in der View Bar – unbedingt empfehlenswert! Das Essen war ein Traum! Mit viel Liebe angerichtet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Dank der Lage der Unterkunft konnten wir den Süden der Insel bequem mit dem Auto erkunden.
