Lack of choice for vegetarian food

Charming property with excellent facilities, food and staff. We booked a sea view suite which was very comfortable. The outdoor deck with pool was exceptionally well appointed.

We were disappointed with the seating inside the suite itself. It was limited to an uncomfortable day bed, obviously meant to accommodate a third guest but which inadequate as a sofa. The weather and mosquitoes discouraged sitting outdoors after dark and there wasn’t an acceptable alternative to sit indoors.

A truly outstanding hotel. We loved everything about our stay. We had a suite with a sea view. The garden, mountain and sea views were amazing. The outdoor deck and infinity pool were to die for. Our room was superb, a large and comfortable bed and an outdoor shower which really allowed you to connect with the outdoors were highlights. The service from every team member was first class and the evening meals were beautifully prepared and very tasty. There was a steep hill back to the room but there was always a buggy to take us back.

Given the outstanding standards at this hotel we felt the breakfast buffet was fine but didn’t match the quality of the evening meals. We were also surprised to be asked to pay extra if we wanted to use the air con.

Everything. I am so glad that I found this location. Is perfect for nature's lovers.

We really liked the service, the kindness of the hotel staff was wonderful. They picked us up whenever we wanted with their golfcars and prepared a special birthday cake for me. The location was good, only 30 min from le morne beach and 15 min from seven colored earth. tons of rivers around as well. The nature and the view were amazing!! Walking in the jungle on the way to the breakfast was a special experience.

The pools were not really clean most of the time and some bugs were inside (a result of the jungle). The toilet in our room had no door, meaning no privacy. And now the real thing that bothered us the most- bugs and little animals everywhere in the room- bathroom, balcony, cockroaches and flies inside the window curtains (they jump on you). We had some sleepless nights from their sounds.

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft mitten im „Dschungel“ Ein herzliches Willkommen schon bei der Ankunft. Peggy und ihr Team sind absolut toll. Wir erhielten ein Zimmer upgrade als Geste zum 25-jährigen Hochzeitsjubiläum. Das Zimmer(was ja eigentlich ein traumhaftes Bungalow ist) war sehr schön. Wir hatten einen eigenen Pool, ein sehr großes Schlafzimmer mit separatem Ankleidezimmer, Waschraum, Toilette und einer Außendusche. Die überdachte Terrasse mit Möbeln haben wir gerne als Sitzmöglichkeit draußen genutzt, genauso den kleinen Anbau draußen im freien um den Kaffe früh zu trinken und all den Tieren zu lauschen. Abends kann man sich den Sonnenuntergang von der Viewbar anschauen. Man schaut von oben auf das Meer raus, einfach ein muss. Joana und ihr Kollege stehe zur Seite um bei der Cocktailwahl zu helfen. Man bekommt auch kleines Fingerfood dazu. Im Restaurant, wurden wir sowohl von Joclyn als auch Vinash betreut und sind sehr begeistert von dem Service. Abends wird a la Carte bestellt, morgens hat man ein Frühstücksbuffet. Wir hatten Halbpension, man kann natürlich auch immer Lunch extra bestellen und die Preise sind fair. Alles in allem ein sehr schön umgesetztes Konzept, bei dem sich der Gast wohl fühlt.
