"Sad and disappointed"

2.0

The proximity to the ocean for swimming

Lack of communication, guessing the photos are from it's heyday which must've been a decade ago judging by dilapidated everything. Shower pressure sucked. Power went out. When they were on, the fans didn't actually do anything. Bartender didn't actually know how to make drinks ... Pool was over chlorinated. It was overall extremely sad in comparison to what is advertised.

"Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Stevenson's and would stay again!"

6.0

Location was perfect! Shops close by, right next to beautiful beach. Staff were amazing! They were helpful, friendly and courteous. Check in was smooth despite us arriving later than planned. Fale were lovely and clean on arrival and exactly what was advertised, nets provided for each bed Breakfast was delicious with a simple selection of food. Lunch and dinner from the bistro was delicious and reasonably priced. Tusitala Restaurant wasn't operating during our stay. Bar being open from 11am to late was fabulous! A fiafia night would've been amazing! Facilities were awesome! Something for everyone. Pool table, table tennis table, beach volleyball net, kayaks, snorkels/goggles, outside showers, easy access to bar and kitchen. 24 hour swimming pool was such an a cool feature, we swam all hours of the night and could take a dip when the evenings were super hot, the poolside furniture was also great, plenty of seating and sun lounges, great quality swimming towels provided. Paid a small fee for room service to launder our clothes (wash, dry and fold), that was really helpful. Plenty of parking. We were in Savai'i meeting family for the very first time, the staff allowed us to share toanai with our family after church on the Sunday. Check out was easy, simple and smooth.

Tricky to make direct contact with resort. Communication back to us could've been much better. The eftpos machine was temperamental, worked best in the afternoon. Power to the fale kept tripping, the first day we had no power at all but it did get sorted later in the afternoon. We booked four fale and fale two had some trouble with the shower plumbing, the door lock and bed. A breakdown of purchases charged to rooms would be more helpful than just showing a total owed. The pool is a great feature and would benefit from a bit of maintenance and repair.

"We wont be staying again. The price doesnโ€™t match the experience."

5.0

Beautiful views from our suite. Loved the kayaks, and the private beach access. Kids gaming room with pool table, ping pong table and tv. Was upgraded to new room as air conditioning unit wasnโ€™t working.

No tv in room, which for the amount you pay per night it should be included even if not used, The pool needs repairs. Very elusive staff, there was one day where not one staff member could be seen in the common area, around the pool or even in the bar for at least an hour. The wifi doesnโ€™t reach the rooms as the box is on the other side of the road where the reception is located, so if you want to use wifi, you have to cross the road and sit at the reception. No information booklet is available, so we had to go and ask the lady at reception what the meal times were and she wrote it down for us. Air conditioning didnโ€™t work in yellow room. Breakfast was so basic, muffin, cinnamon scroll, 1 choice of fruit, crepe, boiled egg and toast. Over all we paid a luxury price for 3 nights stay and got 2 stars at best. Food was expensive, we ended up going to another resort for dinners. The vibe is so off, all rooms were completely booked out yet we rarely saw other guests as everyone was just wanting to get out of there during the day. I think playing music and upping the atmosphere would go along way for the place, as that was our experience with other resorts we stayed at in Samoa.

"Stay at Amoa resort and avoid Stevensons!"

3.0

The location, the beach and the gardens.

Dirty, pool has mould as do bathrooms and showers. No complimentary wifi, breakfast was terrible and dinner inedible. When we let them know the steaks were tough and the garlic bread (which was just toast with no butter or garlic) was not what was stated they just said sorry, all our meals were terrible and tasteless. For over $300 tala the food was abysmal! Our bath towels were stained and the bed skirts were covered in bleach stains. This resort is 2 star at best and thatโ€™s simply that itโ€™s right on the beach and the parking is on site!

"Un coin extraordinaire sur une รฎle sublime."

8.0
