Sandy Haven Resort

The hotel was beautiful. Room was beautiful. Bartenders were great, waitresses were great. My only issue I had was the young lady at the front desk. Her name was something... Ann I don't recall. But boy did she have a bad attitude. From check in to check out her attitude was terrible. She almost ruined an otherwise perfect stay.

Sandy Haven is a quiet and relaxing venue. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the beach and really appreciate the spa massage services.

Not enough lighting in the sleeping rooms and bathrooms. With the widespread availability of LED bulbs, there should be better lighting over the bathroom mirros and in the reading lamps and overhead lamps.

The staff was exceptional.

The service was impeccable, actual accommodation was really nice, the outside aesthetics more than made up for the shortfalls I experienced. It encumbered all the points and reasons I like staying at boutique hotels. I left with having experience Intimacy, uniqueness and a personal connection with my environment and great customer service from the front of house staff..

The hotel was lovely however the let’s downs * no entertainment in the evening on site * ⁠WiFi wasn’t working effectively and they had two systems on site * ⁠TV in the room wasn’t working either, neither was the cable TV For the nightly rate these items should be delivered to the customer.

Everyone there was so kind especially the infamous Pops! The beach was beautiful and we had a great time walking up and down the stretch. The room was spacious and was cleaned every day.

The room is very spacious. From reading previous reviews, the hot tub has been broken for a long time, it was not working during our stay. the pool was dirty. The fridge in the room never was cold, which was another common thing I had read in the reviews that it commonly didn’t work. Breakfast at the sandy haven is mediocre. You are offered a continental breakfast, which is a small plate of fruit and toast. They also offer mimosas, but only had champagne one day of our stay. We didn’t spend much time at this resort. We had friends staying next door at coco la palm, we spent most of our time in their chairs and using their hot tub. The drinks at the bar of shandy haven are expensive. The sandy haven beach isn’t very big. If you just want a room to sleep in and find a different beach this place is perfect for just going to sleep. I suggest finding a friend at cocolapalm and hanging out on their beach.

Chic boutique hotel with large rooms in the centre of 7 mile beach. Most things are a walk away. Property is well maintained Included breakfast could be more generous and more could be made of the on site restaurant which has a unique ambience

Beautiful place

I liked the quietness of the property. Rooms were large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and polite. It is close to dining options within walking distance either from the beach or along Norman Manley Blvd. The only issue was the water availability, at times it took a while for the hot water to work especially later in the day and late one night there was no water at all. Otherwise everything else was very good and I would return to visit another time. Overall I recommend this property.

It was a very nice boutique hotel. Love the includes continental breakfast which included table side french press coffee, fruit, juice and bread. Beach was excellent and the beach bar was great. All the stff were friendly and helpful.
