Beautiful location and friendly staff made this a very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic views of the beach, the sunset view alone was worth the stay here. The check-in was seamless, staff were amazingly helpful, food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Room was spacious and tasteful, (love the tartans), really appreciated the information given about the room's namesake. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely will head back here again if we're headed to Campbeltown again.

Fantastic Hotel ... Lovely location & the shuttle bus to and from the hotel is really great . They are available between 5-15 minutes whenever we needed a lift to town or back to the hotel . And the driver is very nice & friendly . Shuttle bus is a available til 10PM from Campbeltown back to the hotel but the driver said he’ll pick us up at 10:30PM so that was nice . we booked an executive room for 2 nights with sea view and it was lovely . It was our anniversary but we didn’t hear anything from the management . We’re not expecting a bottle of champagne but a small thoughtful gesture would have been nice . We didn’t tell them it was our anniversary but I know that they know because my in-laws ordered a bottle of champagne as a surprise for us and also asked them to make a simple greetings in a white paper. Anyway , I thought I’d mention it . We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was really good , we enjoyed it . We also love their club bar , their pizza with haggis was really delicious . Buffet breakfast was good but the staff has to make sure side plates are available . I noticed the staff didn’t notice it at all even tho 3 of them have passed the buffet table and until I ask one of them to put some side plates . Sunset was amazing , so lucky the weather was glorious when we were there .The waiting Staffs are ok , not rude but they lack personality .. They need good customer service training.

Beautiful setting right by beach, very friendly staff in “pub”

Mit ophold på hotellet var rigtig godt. Fantastisk beliggenhed og venligt personale. Dog var der intet telefon signal på hotellet, hvilket selvfølgelig ikke er hotellets skyld, men det var lidt irriterende. Wifi signalet var til gengæld rigtig godt.

Beautiful room overlooking the water, wonderful Rachael at the front desk and friendly pub staff. They offer free shuttle (Andrew, the driver , is very kind!) to the Royal Hotel in Campbeltown, which is a great idea and very much appreciated. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Treat yourself to a bit of luxury: even if you're not a golfer, this resort hotel is well worth the investment. Excellent facilities, delightful staff, great location about 10 minutes' drive from the centre of Campbeltown (and the hotel provides a shuttle bus).
