The location of the lodge was perfect for us as it is in close proximity to the trailheads for popular hikes in the Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. It was also in walking distance to the few restaurants that are in the area. There were beautiful views in every direction you looked just outside of the lodge.

Well equipped kitchen to cook all your meals BLD. Centrally located.

Room was on the smaller side. Leave your suitcases in the car, much easier to get around.

Location. Mountain Views stunning!

Room very cramped & also had bunk beds plus king when it was only 2 of us. Not convenient to get out to communal kitchen for our drinks. Not convenient proper bathing soap, only bar soap. For the amount you pay, it was not worth it.
