Hotel Ryu Resort and Spa

The staff are very friendly, they make you feel at home. The place is somewhere in the mountains. It is peaceful and quiet. A good place to relax especially in the open area hotspring.

サービス、食事、ラウンジに満足しています。驚いたのは、お風呂までの距離の長さと、浴場から露天風呂の距離が非常に長く、この露天風呂への通路が不衛生に感じてしまいました。履物を使うのは困難ですが、あの通路のべたつきは怖いです。仕方ないのでしょうね。レストランへの長い廊下は不快ではありませんが、インパクトがあります。スタッフの方が出迎えてくれますから印象は良かったですね。お風呂と食事の内容はコスト相応です。布団の質感は良いのですが、何となく清潔感に不安がありました。リネン処理ではなく布団本体の管理の問題です。お米は美味しかった！釜炊きと通常炊きの違いを楽しめます。それにあわせる　棒葉味噌や漬物などの素朴な素材の食材が美味しいので、安心できます。素材を生かした調理技術にも感動しました。食事とお風呂が自慢であり、改装された内装の良さに心地よさが感じられました。

赤ん坊と一緒の旅行で不安もあったけど、レストラン

部屋が予想以上に広くゆっくりと滞在できました。露天風呂も綺麗で広くくつろげました。また機会があれば行きたいです。

部屋のお風呂の浴槽の下にシャンプーの容器か何かが落ちており髪の毛なども見られたため少し清掃が行き届いてないように感じました スタッフの方は皆さん丁寧に接客されているように感じました

受付の男性は話しが長く無駄話が多く、もういいですと言ってもやめずに続ける。 和室なのにマットレスが敷いてある。 風呂場の下の床は割れて歪んでいてコンクリートがむき出し。震災を思い出せてくれました。

The resort was very helpful and responsive before our stay. They tried to answer every of our emails and cater to our needs so we have had high expectations of the resort. However when we checked in, was told that the onsen is closed for the moment due to blackout on previous night but the onsen opened shortly. Then came a series of surprises that the resort does not have a restaurant unless you pre booked with them but you can’t expect us to eat the same things for 3 nights which was the case for the breakfast that we had the same for 3 days. Unlike other onsen resort that I have experienced in, there is no in house shop that sells snacks and the nearest convenience store is like 15 mins drive away. It also does not come with laundry machine. What is good is that the staff speaks good English and the rooms are very spacious

A modern hotel with indoor and outside onsen . The rooms are large Japanese style The outside onsen is covered but open at the side Breakfast and dinner are served in a communal dining room partly served set menu partly buffet . Food quality was good but not great . The staff were mainly young and all enthusiastic and friendly . The Ryu Resort is a good place to use a base to tour the area but you really need a car . The hotel seemed to be a popular weekend break for Japanese tourists as well as a number of foreign tourists . We gave a score of 7 out of 10
