Hideaway Inn Lenox

Tired property. Past quaint, and just old now. Tiny room. Confusion between this one and it’s sister hotel down the road.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whitlock (part of the same management as the Constance). Good restaurants easy to walk to. Quiet. Only thing we missed was a comfortable armchair in the bedroom.

Lousy room. Pedestal sink in bath with NO counter and NO shelves. Probably worst hotel ever. Continental breakfast with inedible pastries.

The staff on duty were very professional and pleasant. The young man on duty on Thursday afternoon and evening was very attentive and capably answered my question about the Shakespeare theater. My room was very clean and modern. The slight problem with the bed footboard did not effect my comfort or the function of the bed.

Super location, great continental breakfast (fresh fruit!), friendly staff, great shower (room 104), water carafe with glasses in room, quiet, easy parking.

Temp indicator on mini split illuminated room at night, mattress a bit tired.

I thought the pictures on the internet over stated the property. The room was small, minimal amenities, breakfast was underwhelming.

Old style charm in quaint New England town. Loved seeing Shakespeare in the Park in town. Breakfast buffet was limited but tasty. Staff were friendly.

No elevator - fine for us but something to consider for travellers with less mobility or lots of bags. No restaurant, need to get lunch and dinner in town (a few minutes’ walk).

location wrt Tanglewood excellent

The location was nice, but we were not in the main building but another building 5 min from there.

Breakfast was running low on food a little too early
