Our stay at Gaia, was nothing but amazing! Nigel and his staff are awesome. Great room with a nice view to the mountains. I highly recommend this secluded slice of paradise.

Amazing location and experience, the entire staff was exceptional, my servers Steve and Javier are great guys. The food was excellent, I haven’t a single issue there. Chris the security guard who doubles as the on site magician is great, his up close street magic is top notch. You can’t leave w/o seeing his performance! This is a great place to relax and get away from the noisy. Walking the garden, nature trail and sitting at the waterfall was very relaxing. My room over looked the falls so imagine waking up to that view every morning and being rocked to sleep by the sounds of the rushing water! I would say on my next trip I will definitely rent a car or spend a little time in San Ignacio before heading deeper into the forest. As it is difficult to get to activities from the lodge.

This hotel was an absolute gem. The staff went out of their way to make everything easy and enjoyable, and the whole property had a calm, relaxing vibe that made it feel like a true escape. The place is gorgeous—well cared for, peaceful, and perfect if you just want to unwind and get away from the noise of everyday life. The food was a standout. Everything tasted fresh, and one of my favorite parts was being able to pick veggies straight from the garden and have them cooked for breakfast. It made the whole experience feel special and personal. We did 3 excursions through the hotel and they were all wonderful. Would absolutely do them again. It was very easy to book and they took care of every detail. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d happily come back. It’s the kind of place where you can breathe a little deeper and just enjoy yourself.

I’m so grateful we chose to stay at Gaia! Yes it’s a drive to get there from the airport but so worth it. Stay for more than one night. When we arrived it was like no place we had ever stayed and it felt like we were dreaming! It’s a jungle paradise with the most amazing waterfall views. But it gets better! You can swim in the waterfall!! The customer service from their friendly staff is top notch. We were greeted with a refreshing drink and cool towel while we waited to check in. Koby gave us a tour and walked us to our beautiful villa. Alexis decorated our villa for our anniversary including handwritten notes and towel animals. Darren served us delicious hand crafted drinks and meals in the restaurant and made sure fresh coffee was delivered to us in the morning. Greg took us on an enlightening jungle adventure to see Caracol Mayan ruins and Rio On Pools. His knowledge about Belize’s history, culture and his own community really added to the tour. We visited at the end of Oct and there were no crowds with perfect weather!

My husband and I started our honeymoon with 4 nights at Gaia, and it was the most amazing place either of us have ever been. The staff made us feel like the utmost VIP’s and were the epitome of hospitality. Colby, Rick, Greg, Demor, Javier, and Selvi just to name a few. We did the morning jungle walk, Xunantunich and Macal River tour, ATM Cave tour, garden tour (from Rahul!) and a riverside massage. Every tour was above and beyond, and we haven’t stopped talking about all of the memories! The restaurant and lodging accommodations were PERFECT. We most certainly can’t wait to come back and will recommend this beauty to everyone we know!!!! Also special shout out to Coco — the most precious and adventurous property dog! Coco joined us on our jungle walks and at the river while we swam!
