We dont eat breakfast but bought some lovely cakes and savouries from their cafe below with 10% discount. The room was large, clean, warm well thought out. Hairdryer and box of tissues was supplied, local info leaflets and vases and lovely cushions all helped to make for a cosy room. Location is excellent with high street, Mermaid Inn and beautiful pubs within a 5 minute walk. Also train and bus station just a few minutes walk away.

Liked it all.

"Lovely place yet awful noise from doors throughout created lack of sleep"

Quirky and old with great character

Never stayed anywhere with so much door noise , was woken early as when exit door was opened yet slammed shut , this appears to be the theme throughout as the noise from doors effected the stay

Super location, room was impeccably clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and great pillows! Was a bit worried it would be noisy but not at all!

Only complaint is for extractor fan is quite loud in the bathroom
