Coral Beach Lodge

I've been travelling around Australia for the past two months now and not one place as come close to the vibe and cleanliness that the Coral Beach Lodge has provided. The man at the reception pointed out a ton of great spots to check out in Port Douglas and then chatted to me about what else you could do around the area. The pool was always fabulous and the free breakfast superb. It's about ten minutes out from the Main Street which means noise won't be an issue but if you're out for a night out, it's a calming walk back to sleep.

Family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights in a family room with own bathroom. My kids loved it. Manager has great customer service and is full of local knowledge which he was happy to share with us. He brought the pet snakes out at breakfast for the kids to hold and take photos. (You don't get that at the Mantra) Very affordable accommodation with brekkie included. He also recommended PD boat hire which was also very afforable and we got to see crocodiles in their natural habitat. Would definately recommend people to stay here. Four mile beach at your doorstep too. Cheers!

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly.. There was an odour in the room, but i think it was the creek nearby.

I had a lovely time here! I got back from my snorkel trip and already checked out but the receptionist gave me a clean towel and kindly offered to let me shower there. It was super sweet of her! The place is very clean and the free breakfast is good - better than Cairns YHA which only serves pancakes.

I just wanted somewhere handy to restaurants as I was having dinner with friends and didn't want to drive back to Cairns late at night and also be able to enjoy a few wines. This property suited my purposes, a bed for the night, perfectly. Very efficient and friendly operators.

Great location, friendly staff, they accommodated my late check in request . Clean room, easy parking, quiet area. They had breakfast :) We had a great overall experience as I can't remember any negatives about this motel.

All the facilities that you need — kitchen, leisure areas, great people.

For thr price I think it is not worth it. Hotel prices for backpacker facilities. Clean enough but the aircon not being available whrn wanted was a little inconvienient as this was not disclosed before booking and we were workibg nights so my partner needed to spend quite a bit if the day in the room trying to sleep in the heat.
