Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge

It’s perfect. Mellow, lovely, amazing food, incredible staff. I have stayed all over the world in lovely and fantastic hotels and this may be my favorite. My special thanks go to Elia and Nobert for going out of their way to make our time extra special with popcorn and local food and lots of hot chocolate. This hotel is special and should be at the top of everyone’s Tanzania bucket list.

The property is amazing, unbelievable attention to details, everything is very stylish and beautiful. Had one of the best dinners in our life, our server Nobert went absolutely far and beyond and elevated our experience even further. In Canada even in the most fancy places service is not even close.

It was indeed luxury and lovely..I went on a safari with Untamed Expeditions..and it was first rate all the way…this was-our 3rd place & it was just sublime..I haven’t one complaint…al the way down to the hot water bottles in your bed acting Dow..it fireplaces when you return from a scrumptious dinner. Naps by the pool after a 7 hour game ride was divine…there was an sos that I didn’t get to experience …but it looked very lovely…I would love to come back soon.

This place is verry beautiful. Verry big rooms but not particular adepted for wheelchairs, the room nearest by the restaurant and pool does not have anny adrptations other than a ramp op the stairs. But the rooms are big enough to get around. For the rest of the faccilities the staff is glad to help you whenever they can

We stayed at this lodge for one night only, and our hearts were broken because we wanted to stay forever! It has the BEST atmosphere, staff, food, and management. The rooms are fantastic and comfortable with anything you need in them. The grounds are unbelievably gorgeous 😍 ✨️ 💖 we watched giraffes graze on bushes across the valley while we drank our morning coffee, which was friggin delicious! A security guard was so kind and took our elderly mother for a walk in the garden. the gardener was so gracious. He showed us how to eat the tomatoes off a tomato TREE. A special shout out to Nobert. He added so much to this stay with his excellent conversation and attention to us and our happiness. He has such a wonderful way of making you feel at home. All of the staff was excellent, but unfortunately, the bartender, Fabi, was far too good at his job, and I can not remember all of their names😘 I do remember Chris, who is overseeing things, was very attentive to detail of all of the goings on, and I think he is doing just an excellent job as we did not see one unhappy face in the place.

What a fantastic place to stay. Giving it 5 stars seems like an understatemnt. Rooms/cottages were suites with a large deck, chocolates every night before bed, drinks included, food wonderful and service outstanding. Why would you stay any place else? Best resort I have ever stayed in.

We had the best time at the Neptune luxury lodge on our way to Ngorongoro crater. It’s a great property with individual luxury huts overlooking the wilderness. The property is so luxurious with a spa and an amazing pool. Best part of our trip was the excellent service provided by the staff at the lodge. One of the staff members, Norbert Tango, was amazing. He paid attention to all our dietary needs and we had the most amazing customer cooked meal of Indian food for dinner. Norbert’s attention to detail and customer-focused was exceptional and made our stay super customized and special. This is a must stay stop if you’re going to visit the Ngorongoro crater

What an amazing place! Unspoiled and amazing views over the ngorongoro area and the best kept garden i have seen in a long time, splendid and spacious suites, a spa and restaurant with food from their own gardens, super friendly staff...we did not wanna leave!

Firstly we had a really nice welcome from the hotel team when we arrived. Secondly, all the team were very polite and friendly all the time of the day and finally, because I had a belly issue, the restaurant waiter Norbert Tango, helped me really much because he suggested to make a meal only for me, different from the menu. Neptune thank you for everything!

Our cottage was very big, beautiful and relaxing. We saw elephants from the pool deck! It was a gorgeous area to watch the sunset with the Mountain View. We enjoyed the fire place, the wonderful pool and fire pit area. The beautiful flowered trees and brushes were such a joy to walk in throughout our stay. The food was spectacular and staff was kind and helpful. We needed this break to enjoy peace after the crator wildlife adventure. The crator was simply magnificent!
