Hollywood Casino & Hotel

First time at here. Will be back. Hotel was huge. Long walk from casino to hotel. ESPN bar/restaurant had great food for dinner!!!

Requested Non Smoking room and was put into a Stinking Smoking room.

Didn’t like the train at 3 am or the long walk to park car

No air conditioning. Only 1 bath towel

For a casino the rooms are not very well kept!

Older facility but clean

Our stay at the Hollywood Hotel was underwhelming. The check-in process was quick, and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly enough, but he didn’t offer any helpful information or directions. Since we had never stayed here before, I had to ask questions that could have been easily addressed up front. We were on the third floor, and as we walked down the hallway, we noticed large clumps of carpet lint—clearly, it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while. The condition of our room wasn’t much better. There was debris on the carpet and a scrunchie on the floor next to the bed, which gave the room a neglected appearance. To top it off, there was only one bath towel provided, even though the room was reserved for two guests. Parking was another disappointment. There is a small paved lot and an overflow gravel lot, but the gravel area was full of ruts and overgrown grass—not what you'd expect from a casino hotel. When we got back to the hotel later in the evening, both lots were full, so we ended up having to park in the casino garage and walk over to our room. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it just added to our disappointment. Overall, this hotel fell far short of expectations, especially for being part of a casino resort.

The first time I stayed there was about eight years ago and the property was much better than it is today

The rooms were just over the okay cleanliness line and the rooms were outdated. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly, there was only one towel in the bathroom for three people (we had to ask for more), the conditioner was out, the curtains were stained and had holes, and the beds were on the firm side, but if you are staying for only the convenience of having the casino nearby then it is good enough.
