A beautiful setting next to the river Tweed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of room for us and the dog. The room was very clean and we had a lovely view towards the abbey. Which is worth a visit. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Lovely food in a dining room full of character. We will certainly be staying here again

The location was superb- absolutely beautiful. The hotel was comfortable and clean.The breakfast was good and dinner was great. We loved it! Had been a bit worried about all the dog issues but everything was well managed.

It’s an old hotel but the (mostly young) staff are doing their best to adapt , successfully.
