Although the exterior and interior lobby of this hotel look newer, the rooms are dated and showing their age. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure and drained well. The breakfast was ok, but not great.

Staff was great and friendly. Went for a wedding in Medora. Beautiful area!

Upon check in, the clerk was more interested in what she was looking at on her phone, then checking us in. During the process, I asked a couple of questions and her answer was continuously. “ I don’t know, I am usually the night auditor and don’t have to deal with people”. She had no interest in us hearing her spiel about breakfast or any other things about the hotel. There is a vibe that does not connote safety, cleanliness or a welcoming appearance. It added a whole level of concern to the waiver that you have to sign upon check-in that you do not hold them responsible for your car out in the parking lot. There are signs that say the premises are under 24 hours surveillance. And there are cameras everywhere. Unfortunately, the side entrances do not work. There’s only one entrance into the hotel. This led to people propping a door open at one point at the end of our hall, which leads to more safety concerns. The keypad lock is duct taped onto the door frame and does not work. The business center had a camera in the room that pointed directly at the computer and keyboard. It made us question the security and privacy of our passwords, etc., while using the computer. Another guest was at the front desk, the second day we were here, complaining about a “creature“ found in her room. The Desk clerk said “I’m freaked out and don’t want to touch that. Can you put it in a plastic bag?“ I am not sure what it was, but the clerk also told her that there were no other rooms available and that there were no managers available for a few days. The managers were on emergency leave and she was just there to take the beatings. She told her she could leave or she could stay, but she could not give her a refund and that she would have to deal with the missing managers at a later date. When we got to our room, it did not feel clean. This was confirmed by the stains on the floor in the bathroom. It had not been cleaned, there were coffee, stains, and drink stains. ( I hope) visible on the tile. The bedroom furniture had gunk on the frame. The coffee pot in the room does not have a plug so you have to use it in the bathroom. When we went to use it, there was an old, dirty, used pod, still left from a previous user in the pot. The facility in general is rundown and in a desperate need of repair and remodeling. There are buckets in the hallway under missing tile in the ceiling where water is dripping, the furniture is worn and nicked. The walls are gouged and they would need of a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was a disaster, 90 minutes before breakfast was over there was no food except a bagel, some yogurt and waffle batter that came out like water. Even the coffee was empty. We waited 30 minutes and no new food appeared. The woman taking care of breakfast was not using gloves, and intermittently cleaning counters, dealing with garbage and touching the waffle container and dishes. We did not even attempt to eat there the next day because of our concern with the cleanliness. This hotel is an unmitigated disaster and if the corporate office saw it they would be horrified. The place just has a film of ick that seems to cover everything from the carpet to the ceiling. We would never stay here again.

The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the tv barely worked with very limited cable channels. WiFi was weak. Ceiling tiles in lobby were removed and appears water may get into the building regularly. Most of the staff didn’t seem to want to interact with the guests except for the gentleman at the front desk.

Breakfast here was supposed to be served from 5am to 10am. Was there at 6. Pastries and breads were out. No hot food, settled for coffee. Came down at 8, 2 bagels left , bread and waffle machine were working. No hot food. Others were standing around waiting for hot food as well. Finally gave up, very disappointing!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast selections were good.

Clean room - breakfast was included. However, they ran out of items. The eggs were good an omelet like but frozen in the center. The coffee was really good.

Hotel was great. Would stay again.

This property is in serious need of an update. Furniture and furnishings are worn. Breakfast is average at best.
