The reception is formal and functional, bordering on unfriendly. There’s plenty of staff around but they seem more focussed on chatting and laughing amongst themselves than guest experience, which is a shame because the staff in the brasserie are the polar opposite - they are friendly and welcoming. Rooms differ in standard despite the same categorisation. I stayed three nights on arrival in Casablanca and couldn’t fault the room. Staying one night before I leave Morocco and the room is smaller, older and in need of some TLC/repair. It’s a disappointment considering the standard of the hotel.

"Disgusting stains, poor service"

We paid extra for a "luxury" room, but it had a vomit stain next to the bed and a series of disgusting stains on the couch. The toilet was in a closet on the other side of the room from the sink. For some reason, there was a baby crib, and the staff wouldn't remove it. We asked to switch rooms, but they said no. They said they would refund us (we ended up booking a last-minute room at the Marriott down the street), but more than a week later, and they still haven't. This is far from a five-star hotel -- it is dirty, and I would stay away.

We checked in at 4 20 pn. Frankly I find rhus quite ridiculous. I k ow that in morocco check in is at 3 but then check out is 12 on the dot. They gave us a bigger room but it was painful
