Bc Spa Hotel

The location was amazing, right by the river so we could see the boats going up/down and the Turtles. The lady that looked after our room (318) was so lovely and helpful. The man on reception who gave us the lovely room with a great view was so helpful.

The location was amazing, right by the river so we could see the boats going up/down and the Turtles. The breakfast was the worst breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. The tomatoes were on their last legs. The staff in the restaurant were unhelpful, untidy. The view looking back to the hotel from the outside eating area looks awful. Old chair seats, rubble and generally a mess. The man on reception who gave us the lovely room with a great view was so helpful but the others on reception were miserable. The lady in the spa was lovely but one day another man was there and really unhelpful and rude so I didn't bother using. Had I known they are separate to the hotel I would have made the effort to go back.

The room was situated right at the poolside ,the cleaning staff were lovely and efficient . Apart from this can't really think of much.

The staff were not really interested apart from the cleaners.On arrival we were charged more than was quoted on confirmation docs. When we reached our room there was no key for the safety deposit box ,and we were told it had been lost .When I asked how I could safeguard my monies ,I was told it's ok there are cameras about . I had to spend the whole two weeks hiding my money in the room ,and hoping it would be safe. The food was very poor ,we only ate there once and when we complained, we were told there was no chef. Breakfast was pretty poor ,no fruit juice or friut provided.When I asked for ketchup at my table ,I was pointed towards the bar area.

Breakfast basic, location excellent. One room did not have air conditioning working or a useable safe. When moved to another room the safe still did not work. Outside in the grounds it looked like it was overgrown. Although we enjoyed our stay the hotel is in need of re-organising. Hardly anyone ate ae the hotel as sometimes the chef wasn't there. even passers-by didn't eat even though the restaurant location was ideal. It needs a lot of money spending on it by someone with a bit of hotel experience. The pool was good and plenty of sun loungers for the few people that were there. Staff grasp of English not very good even though the majority of the guests were English

Location was ideal for us. The breakfast was basic but decent. We had a room right next to the second pool, which was lovely. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were clean. This is the second time we have stayed here and would stay again.

Tea and Coffee facilities in the room would have been nice

Great location and just a short stroll into the main town. Two good size outdoor pools with plenty of loungers. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the AC was good.

Breakfast was basically the same each day. Housekeeping was hit and miss, until I clarified things with them. Trouble with the safe and air-conditioning which was eventually sorted.
