Bc Spa Hotel

Lovely traditional Turkish style hotel with two lovely pools located right on the river and only a short walk along the river bank to the center of town. Friendly staff but badly let down by very poor food. Very little choice and any hot food available was usually cold. The Alsatian guard dog was permanently chained in the hot sun on a very heavy chain near the entrance. The poor thing would lick you to death if you showed him some affection. No animal should be kept like this! I would not come here again.

The food was extremely poor. No fruit juices at breakfast and stale bread and very little hot food at all. The poor dog chained at the entrance was so friendly but should not have to live like this......

The spa was lovely, the massage therapists were great. Great distance to the centre of town. Lovely staff

I was worried about reviews about this property, this is a completely honest review. First of all lovely room, clean comfortable massive bed. Big bathroom. Good Aircon at no extra charge, reception staff were friendly. I didn't use the pool or spa as I didn't have time but pool looked clean. Now for the other bits which did not impact my stay directly.

Grounds are hopefully a work in progress due to being start of season, quite run down unkempt and in need of work I did notice Maintenance doing jobs about the place so hopefully by season's proper start then it will all be improved. Breakfast room needs a good overhaul and cleaners not so good on glass like windows, shower screens etc. It did not impact my stay at all and I would stay again if price was reasonable

No pools open and building work going on, same as when i stayed in oct which is ok but when I emailed hotel to ask if would still be going on got no reply

Do not stay here - checked in for two nights but didn’t even stay one night - renovation work going on all over the hotel, dirt and dust everywhere, tables and chairs being put together all day so lots of noise outside the room and had to go into town to find a quieter area to use wifi and work, other furniture stacked up in communal areas of the hotel. Genuinely did not feel a safe or comfortable environment to stay in. Agreed with reception staff that I would check out the same day and they agreed to process refund the next day. Got home two days later and refund had not been processed. Emailed the hotel three times over the course of a week and did not receive one response - all contact completely ignored. Asked Expedia to intervene and hotel told them they would not refund despite telling me when I checked out that they would process the refund. All of this is just basic good manners and customer service that you would expect any hotel to provide but to essentially lie that they would refund and then not do so, is inexcusable. All of this is without even commenting on the state of the rooms with old, tired and chipped furniture, small dirty bathrooms and communal areas - the whole place needs renovating - but they should not be accepting guests whilst doing so. If you want to pay good money for a poor hotel and even poorer customer service, BC Spa is the place for you. Took multiple phone calls and a lot of persistence to get Expedia to eventually make the refund.

Place looks as if no one cares. Chipped plates in breakfast room, grass needs cutting, no bulb in bread room main light , no plug in sink etc.
