Nice modern hotel short walk to the lake, mall next door, 10 minutes to Bar street and 20 to the river area. Good value

Back in Xiamen after 11 months, noticed improvements since last stay especially the bakery section with more varieties of bread n pastries. Compliment to pastry chef Joy, glad that she took guests feedback seriously. Great to see Gina 徐 again in executive lounge, she is still as cheerful as before. Observed she still go the extra mile to help guests - diligently and professionally, a lead by example leader.

First time to Xiamen and had a 3-night stay at Westin. Room was spacious and clean. We had a minor issue with the shower draining super slowly but front desk sent someone up and fixed it in no time. Concierge is super helpful ! They helped us with taxi, information to go to Gulangyu, and any general questions. Special shout out to Liereyy from concierge who helped me with take-out order (meituan app is not easy to use if you don’t have a Chinese phone#) and delivered it to my door late at night. I was so hungry after coming back from a concert. The girls working at the Executive Lounge (40th floor) are really good at what they do and provided excellent service to all the questions we asked. They also helped us fixed our room’s slow WiFi issue when we were trying to pull up something from our phone but couldn’t. Our room comes with faster WiFi for platinum status but front desk checkin person never told us that nor turn it on for us. He gets a “boo”. ☹️ I wished I got their names at the Executive Lounge. Thank you ladies!! Breakfast: I had been to China in 2024 and stayed in Guangzhou Sheraton. That is my only comparison point for breakfast quality. Breakfast is not as elaborate as Sheraton. Lacking in variety and food freshness. But I do appreciate the chef bringing out a guava for me when I asked for one (not part of the fruit choices). Overall, happy with our choice of hotel at Westin and their friendly and excellent service.
