Hotel Albemarle Galapagos Beachfront

Louis and the staff are very friendly. Room was big. Breakfast was good. No internet in the room was a little annoying as we had to step out of the room for internet connection. Nice beach in front of the hotel.

We stayed 7 days at beautiful Hotel Albemarle. The location was perfect, with gorgeous white-sand Isabela beach just steps out the front door of the hotel. We had an ocean-facing room which included a small balcony with seats to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved the beautiful French doors which opened to the balcony and let in the ocean breeze and sound of the waves crashing onto shore---very relaxing! A roof top sun terrace was a great place to have a drink and enjoy watching the sun set. We enjoyed a coffee each morning poolside while we planned our activities for the day. The property was well maintained, beautiful and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is not included and costs $12 per person which seemed about average compared to nearby restaurants. We generally went to a mini market to buy some fruit each day rather than buy the full breakfast. The only thing I would have preferred would be a coffee pot in our room or coffee available downstairs earlier in the morning. Coffee isn't available until 7am and if you are an early riser it's difficult to wait that long for a cup of coffee! This is the only higher-end hotel I've stayed in that hasn't included a coffee pot in-room. However, that is a minor complaint. Overall we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend the property!

The Front desk receptionist is super nice to us, allowing us to have a late checkout after our diving tour, so that we could take a shower before our Ferry. All the amenities, location, and all other things are probably the best on this island that you could find.

The staff were more interested in their own music as we struggled with our luggage the young man at the desk played his game on the computer in full sight. We asked for hard boiled eggs for an early departure and that was ignored.

Juliet, the manager, checked on us consistently to make sure we were happy and had what we needed. Amazing.

Property was located on the water. The rooms were nicely furnished. Location was in the middle of town- close to everything. Best of all was the hospitality of the front desk ladies.

Albemarle and iguana Crossing are two best hotels in Isabela. Very thoughtful staff and beautiful rooms with beach view. WiFi needs upgrading

From breakfast to staff, Hotel Albemarle was fantastic! Juliet at the front desk was especially wonderful, helpful, & accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Waking up that view was a perfect way to spend the holiday!
