Baan KanTiang See Villas (2 bedroom villas)

Awesome villa in an awesome location in Koh Lanta. Jobee was super helpful and made our stay very relaxing and seamless, even sorting us a super last minute cab to avoid missing a ferry when leaving. Mosquitos got into the villa a bit at night, so if staying there we would recommend using the mosquito nets over the beds and making sure their aren't any gaps between the net and bed to allow them in overnight. Other than that the villa was fantastic and had incredible views. We'd recommend hiring a motorbike from the villas (300 baht a day - far cheaper than getting a taxi around) and exploring the stunning beaches and national park around. We explored around Koh Lanta a bit and think this location was the best spot to stay.

Our only regret is not staying longer. We loved our time on Koh Lanta and these villas were a beautiful home away from home. As other guests have mentioned, the driveway is steep but you can easily find a ride—or walk as we did many times. We loved the rooms, private (huge) decks, stunning views, amenities, plants, birds, visiting monkeys and proximity to the beach/restaurants. Our thanks to Jobee for the warm hospitality and help with our touring plans. We’ll be back!

Fabulous accommodation. Full kitchen if you want to cook (we didn’t). Great terrace with sun beds and the views are amazing. The swimming pool was great to use after the walk up the hill! Friendly, helpful staff The only downside is the walk up and down to the property. We didn’t see this clearly stated on the details. It is very steep!! Luckily we are relatively fit but could only manage it twice a day for food! A complimentary shuttle service would be ideal.

The villas are on the top of a mountain. It’s really high up. Views are incredible. The nicest view of a beach I’ve ever seen. The villas are beautifully designed and look designer. I’d like my own house to be so well decorated. The air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was incredible. So much space. The only two things we had to work through were getting up and down the mountain and finding a beach chair at the beach. We lined up a taxi driver with what’s app and he drove us anywhere we needed to go. Second we found beach chairs at aqua bar and bamboo beach bar. So all in all it was perfect.

Fantastiskt fint boende. Mysigt pool område där vi nästan alltid var själva. Utsikten är magisk. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal, dem hjälper till med allt; beställa mat till huset, hyra moppe, tvätt osv. Ligger högt upp på ett berg, så man behöver nästan hyra moppe för all lätt kunna ta sig. Enda minusen var att det var väldigt blåsigt på nätterna och så lät det otroligt mycket i huset, luckor som slog osv. Så öronproppar kan vara ett bra tips. En restaurang i närheten som heter Chill Grill rekommenderas också.

What a beautiful setting. Most staff are incredibly inviting and friendly especially the lovely lady on reception from 4pm to 7pm (sorry I can't remember your name) but you deliver outstanding service well above and beyond expectations. The housekeeping staff and gardeners/porters are very friendly too. Thank you. The villas are lovely and spotlessly clean and the complimentary water a god send with the hill! The hill is intense, you only want to go down and up once a day unless you are an olympian or professional athlete. We loved this place but two things brought it down from 5 star hence the 3 rating: 1. On check out you MUST pay by cash for any trips or food you have delivered to the room. This is fine as long as it is communicated well in advance. They cleared us out of all of our Thai cash and I had budgeted very specifically cash wise for our entire trip. PLEASE TELL GUESTS ON CHECK IN OR THROUGHOUT THEIR STAY, as I would hate for this to affect anyone else. 2. The call to prayer is very disturbing at 4-4.30am and woke me every morning. The call radiates around the entire hillside several times a day, which is fine but when on vacation I like peace and quiet. Would not return for these two reasons.

This is a super villa in a commanding position overlooking Kantiang Bay and the Andaman Sea. Because of its position on a hill above the village it benefits from cooling breezes from the sea. The two bedrooms are air conditioned and extremely comfortable. The lving area is not air conditioned but air conditioning is not really necessary because of the ceiling fans and the breezes that flow through it. Two aspects of the villa are especially notweworthy. The terrace is huge, part of which is covered and the other part open to the sun. There is a lovely dining table and chairs under the terrace roof for outdoor dining where we ate all of our meals. The villa has a full kitchen which is unusual for island rentals. This provides the maximum flexibility for eating out or eating in.

The Wiew was fantastic house clean.comfy beds.Lovely patio and outside pool area.Helpfull and nice staff( they provided and helped us with all we asked) loved the area.nice clean beach. charming resturants.and beach bar walking distance. We hope to Come back soon.

Nice Hotel with fantastic view! We Really enjoyed the spacious room and the wonderful sea view. We will definitely come back again!
